Dental Faculty Associates Introduce
Dental Faculty Associates is a dental clinic located in Ann Arbor, Michigan, situated at 1011 N University Ave # 1340, Ann Arbor, MI 48109. While associated with the University of Michigan, recent patient reviews indicate significant concerns regarding parking and staff interactions.
Patient reviews highlight several issues. One reviewer described an "awful experience" due to severe parking problems, resulting in a late arrival and subsequent refusal of service. The reviewer expressed frustration with the staff's lack of understanding and decided to seek dental care elsewhere.
Another reviewer detailed a "BEWARE!!!!!!" experience involving a dispute over insurance verification. The reviewer reported unprofessional behavior from a staff member, including dismissive remarks and inaccurate information. The situation escalated, leading to a confrontation and the reviewer's decision to leave the practice after 25+ years of service. The reviewer also mentioned a warning from a dentist about increased "conflict" with a staff member nearing retirement.
Given these reviews, potential patients should be aware of potential issues with parking and unprofessional staff interactions. The reviews raise concerns about patient care and administrative processes.
The services offered by Dental Faculty Associates likely include general dentistry and potentially specialized dental care due to its association with a university. However, the negative reviews overshadow any potential benefits, raising concerns about the overall patient experience.
Within the context of the Theme Park Directory platform, it's important to understand that this directory also includes local services beyond theme parks. Residents of Ann Arbor and surrounding areas can utilize this platform to find local dental care providers. However, due to the overwhelmingly negative reviews regarding parking and unprofessional behavior, it is strongly recommended that potential patients conduct thorough research and consider alternative dental care options.
For the most current information on promotional offers or detailed service descriptions, direct contact with the dental office is recommended. Potential patients are encouraged to call (734) 764-3155 to schedule an appointment or to inquire about the services they provide. However, given the serious concerns raised in patient reviews, it is advisable to proceed with caution and explore other dental care providers.

Dental Faculty Associates Reviews
Awful experience, not doing back. Have been a patient at the Umich Dental Faculty Associates for a few years now. Had an appointment today and spent 30 minutes stuck in their parking lot, trying to find a spot. Many areas were roped off and other people were blockading areas, trying to also get a spot. After failing to get a spot, had to exit their lot and street park at a meter. After all of this parking mess, I was 15 or 20min late. When I tried to check in, I was informed that they wouldn’t be able to see me. When I tried to escalate, the lady at the desk pretended to go check. Overall, a very sour experience. Will be going elsewhere. No more umich dentistry, not worth the headache.
Apr 05, 2025 · ChadBEWARE!!!!!!I went to my appointment at dental faculty associates on 11/13/20 like I've been doing for the past 25+ years. I have new dental coverage and asked the person at the front desk to check that they have it on file. She (older, shorter, heavy set, white female) didn't appear to want to take the card. She said that it didn't have the information that she needed. I asked what she needed and she said "the group number". I told her its right here and pointed at it. She said that was my insurance card and it didn't have the information she needed. I explained to her that it was my "dental" insurance card which was specifically for dental. She took the card and literally said, "let me take time out of my day to take care of your insurance problem". I told her I didn't understand what the problem was. She said that knowing my insurance coverage is MY responsibility. She said that I am given a pamphlet when I get new insurance and it's my responsibility to know what it says and what my coverages are. I told her that I know D.F.A. are outside of my network, but I just pay the difference of what my insurance covers. She continued making comments about MY responsibility and dropped a "since Obama Care" comment. At this point I lost my temper and couldn't believe what was going on. I told her that the last time I was in I showed her the card (holding it up for her). She looked at it and said, "Yes, thats what we have on file". This was not true as that appointment never got billed to my new insurance. She told me that she put my new information in and "they" changed it. I proceeded to call her a liar (as I had confirmed with billing that they still had my old information) at which point she threatened to call security on me. My appointed ended with her going into the back and coming out with a male dentist who stood about 6'3" telling me that it would be best if I left. He also told me (once we were away from her) that this woman was close to retirement and he finds that more "conflict" tends to happen between employees and patients as the employee gets closer to retirement time.So.....I will be looking for a new dentist after 25+ years of excellent service at D.F.A. It's sad that this person's frustration with their job, and perhaps their career choice, has lead to her lashing out at me for daring to have an insurance change.
