Karen is a very good hygienist. She's kind, efficient and does a great job with the cleaning. My teeth always feel so good afterwards. And the front desk staff are always pleasant and welcoming and Dr. Kamaei is a great dentist too. I would definitely recommend Burnaby Square Dental to anyone!

Update as of Feb 25-2025:My wife was diagnosed with a Blood Cancer disease and had to start chemotherapy pills (Hydrea). See attached. The pills are so strong that you need to wear protective gloves to administer them.This disease was a direct result of severe stress developed from the Dental Negligence by Dr. Kamaei. She stopped working in Dec-2023 due to severe stress, and never worked with chemicals.+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++After moving to Burnaby, my family was looking for a good dentist and we were impressed with the close to 5* Google rating of Dr. Kamaei, and decided to select him.It was a very bad decision. He might be a good dentist for his relatives, friends, and co-workers, but not for ordinary people. Personally, I had a terrible experience with Dr. Kamaei.Just yesterday I got a molar tooth extracted due to a root canal crack.The crown on this tooth was done by Dr. Kamei a year ago.In total, he installed 3 crowns and one bridge for me on both right and left side, and completely screwed up the bite, as he didn’t do much adjustments.The result of not proper adjustment-there was too much pressure from the upper tooth, so the bottom tooth cracked.I also have an infection under the bridge which was done by this doctor a year back.Dr. Kamaei also botched a root canal for my wife, so the tooth was infected and had to be extracted.Another screw up, he did only 2 root canals on a tooth with 3 root canals, charged for 3 root canals and covered the tooth with a crown.And he claims that he can do an implant, which is much more complicated than a regular crown?Be aware !++++++++++++++++++++++++Response to Dr. Kamaei comments:1) This is not misinformation, but a real review of your dental service by a real person.2) Dr. Kamaei 5* Google reviews are generated mostly by his friends, relatives, colleagues, office staff, and their friends and relatives. Check 1* reviews to see the real picture.3) Dr. Kamaei has screwed up both mine and my wife's dental work. The chance of such big screw up for two members of the same family and by the same dentist is very very small.So, it seems like Dr. Kamaei's excellent service is designated only for a specific group of people, but not for the ordinary customers.

I had a fantastic experience with Dr. Sharam Kamaei! He treated seven of my teeth, including three crowns, root canals, and fillings. The procedures were skillfully done, and the staff was incredibly professional and caring throughout the process. My dental health has significantly improved, and I'm grateful for their expertise and care. Highly recommend this dentist for anyone in need of quality dental work.
