UPDATE (no photos) 4 ⭐️About 6 months later and yay! Cartoons on for the kids, a bit of toys, and my little one was ecstatic about the “teeter totter”.I wasn’t even in the waiting room long enough this day to see if the walls/tables had been cleaned up or take pictures. I was also very distracted with my kids’ excitement over the new additions.There was some life in there this time. Thank you!ORIGINAL (with photos) 3 ⭐️My kids have come here for their last few appointments-my youngest had a hard time once (first appointment) but I had no issues with how staff handled the tantrum. I’ve had no issue with staff at all and both my kids enjoy their dental visits. I’m sure the tv being on helps that lol.My issue and reason for only giving 3 stars is the waiting area. There is absolutely nothing to entertain kids, and with this being a pediatric dentist you come in expecting SOMETHING that might make the wait easier for little ones (especially adventurous toddlers like mine) No books, no toys, tv off, no music. The decor is peeling off, walls are chipped peeling and dirty (I had to stop my little one from picking Nat it) kids table area is dirty, there’s even still Christmas decorations up.It’s disappointing because in this area there aren’t many “pediatric” dentists and I think our kids in the community deserve more. I’m even willing to donate toys and books if the office would accept.

This review is for the front desk. Please be a little more considerate to the parents, please do better with communication. I write this as someone who has worked in customer service and try my best to be understanding to those who work in similar field.I made an appointment on 7/12/24 for today 7/19/24. Gave all the information requested, filled out the form they sent me days prior to appointment.Please keep in mind the insurance information was already provided on 7/12/24. And they also requested I send them an email with the phone number providers can call insurance. And I sent it.The day before appointment, yesterday, I called to let them know I still did not have the insurance card if this is ok and can I still take my daughter. The woman who I spoke to asked for the phone number to the Insurance again which I provided as well as the member id. Mind you this is information that was already emailed to them. She tells me that she will call me in the morning to let me know if I have a copay. So in my mind we are ok. I don’t even care about a copay. I was honestly expecting to pay something.And here is my issue. I UBER it to this office with my child. I sign a few things and wait my turn. My appointment is at 10:00 am. Its now 10:20am. I’m not upset about waiting. Its expected. But they call me up to the desk to tell me they don't take my insurance. Which Im confused about but I say ok and just leave. So now I take another UBER home and my daughter couldn’t even see the dentist because they couldn’t confirm any of this information before having me go to their office. I could’ve made an appointment somewhere else but no. All of this because someone didn’t do their job and verified eligibility prior to setting this appointment and making us go through this.Again, do better with your communication. I’m not confrontational so no I did not “go off on them” I kept it professional and left because there was nothing they could do at that point. Please do better with your communication and make sure you have all the information you need before you set up an appointment with patients. Do not waste peoples time and money.

Been a patient at Yellow Bear Pediatric for 7 years or so. This office is a great place to bring your children. Dentists are very good with children. DR DO Dr Chan are passionate about there profession and are great, they are very kind and informative and patient with the children makes them feel comfortable and confident. The staff are friendly and attentive to the client very respectful and work very efficiently. My kids love the Dentists visit because of this . I love this place any bad reviews about this off being negative are ppl looking to complain about anything the important thing is that your child is going to be in good hands .thank you Dr Do and Dr Chan

I’ve been taking my kids here for a few years now for their standard checkups and cleanings. Dr. Do is the best. He is very gentle & soft spoken with the children. I was nervous about my 8-year-old getting his first cavity filling. I expressed privately that my son was terrified of needles and if Dr. Do could do his best to hide it from him. I was a nervous wreck, but Dr. Do pulled it off perfectly. He applied numbing gel first, waited & told my son he is just going to spray “cold water” into his mouth right before the injection & my son did not even notice or flinch. He still has no idea that a needle was involved. I was so relieved. He did an amazing job!I do agree with other reviews that the technicians need to practice better infection control when it comes to wearing gloves. I have seen how they wear the same gloves while using the computer, leaving the room/entering again and then handling dental tools.

Very clean and everyone is nice. Dr Do is so nice with kids. Make them feel comfortable. I highly recommend this place if you looking for a stress free environment for your kids who have problems with dentist.
