Washington Street Dentistry & URGENT Dental Care

If I could give this place 10 Stars I would. I'm one of those folks who just doesn't like going to the dentist. But the entire staff made the process easy for me. The young ladies at the front desk are always friendly and willing to answer all the crazy questions I have. The dental technicians must have been well trained because they all know their jobs inside and out. Dr Church is one of the kindest people I've ever met. He's patient he answers all of my questions. Explains everything that's going to be done and how long it's going to take. What's up with my myriad of questions and answers every one of them. If you do not have a dentist this is the place you need to go. If you do have a dentist you might want to consider switching. I cannot say enough good things about all the people at Washington Street Dentistry

I have alot of health issues which affected my teeth and now I need to have them all extracted. Dr Church and team have been thorough and compassionate while going over all of my options with me. They took the time to listen to my concerns and understand I have alot of trauma from the many surgeries I've had to undergo. I am truly grateful for their help.

Finding a good dentist can be incredibly challenging, however, Dr. Church here at Washington Street Dentistry is amazing! His tech staff are great too, however the front desk staff are incredibly challenging to work with. They are rude and give attitude over simple confusions and clarifications. They make scheduling very difficult and offer no understanding for appointments. I am currently expecting, have two small children at home, and have to find childcare just to make my appointment. I informed them I would be a little late and they told me they couldn’t see me for my appointment, offered a rescheduled appointment 4 months out and then offered no discussion before hanging up on me. I ended up driving into the office but was met with the same attitude and disrespect. As many working moms know, it’s hard to manage personal medical appointments when we are solely responsible for our children and for some of us, have limited supports in place to help. They offered no understanding, which was frustrating. When asked to go ahead and reschedule, they told me an earlier opening that what they previously offered me over the phone. The miscommunication, unprofessionalism, and attitude of the scheduling staff really hinders the reputation of the great works of the Doctor and techs. I hope that conversations and training can be had for more professional development of their staff or at least find replacements. The quality of the service is far too good to be met at the door or on the phone with such disgraceful unprofessionalism, lack of understanding, and extreme hard press and rigid rules. In this day in age, understanding and some flexibility needs to be had, even if it must be built in (i.e. make an appointment for a certain time and buffer a window of time and tell the patient the buffered time)…simple. Best of luck and I pray things are addressed. I’ll offer another opportunity for corrective action and changes to occur or at least hope their bad day doesn’t repeat themselves, otherwise, I’ll be sure to find a new dentist and encourage others to as well.

Finding a new dentist can be difficult. Finding a new dentist where you are comfortable is even harder. I was a little uneasy about coming there. But I think I really found my new dentist. Dr. Church and staff are nice and welcoming! Dr. Church spends the time and attempts to get to know you during your visit. Thanks for allowing me to voice my issues with you and reassuring me that Washington St. dentistry is a good fit for me.

I had my semi-annual dental x-ray and cleaning appointment with Washington Street Dentistry today. From the staff to the hygienists to the dentist, they were all quick and efficient, yet kind and considerate.
