Do NOT go here! Tried to scam me by saying I needed a deep cleaning, lasers, and had 2 cavities which would be thousands. I’ve never had any dental work of this nature and go twice a year, so naturally this was a huge surprise. I went to another dentist for a 2nd opinion who found none of this to be true, 0 cavities and not even close. One dentist was also very callous and had poor bedside manner. My experiences were always with different people and never directly Valery which is odd. The hygienists are nice but always stressed and short on time/understaffed.

I had one of the worst dental experiences here. I moved to Silverlake and had my first appointment here which was all in all ok. I then went to my second apt - teeth cleaning and x-rays. They proceeded to tell me that I needed $2k worth of dental procedures done and 4 cavities. I have never in my life been to a dentist that quoted me that much - I’ve never had any issues with my teeth and have been going to the dentist yearly. I wanted to get a second opinion so I made another appointment out of pocket at a different dentist and they told me that I do not need any of that dental work nor do I have any cavities. Additionally, the teeth cleaning here was the most painful teeth cleaning I have experienced. Teeth cleanings should never cause you pain and soreness for a week after. I told the girl multiple times that she was hurting me and she kept proceeding . She also told me that I needed some gum treatment for $200 out of pockets my new dentist said I have perfectly healthy gums. This dental practice clearly does not know what they are doing - HUGE scammer on sunset. Beware!

The staff at Dr. Sweeny's office are all delightful and extremely effecient and professional. Each procedure is explained. Proper brushing and total teeth care is a focus where I always learn something new. Dr. Sweeny is concerned that patients understand the procedures and the need for each. I am completely satisfied and always recommend her.

Please please read the negative reviews and go elsewhere (I really wish I had- it would have saved me so much pain.) Dr Sweeny practices rushed and dismissive dentistry and is an unpleasant person generally. She should not be in practice. After receiving a filling at her office I had pain for months. After returning her solution was to grind down my filling telling me the bite was off and that should fix it. During this visit she was extremely rude and dismissive of my pain, never stopping to explain what she was doing inside of my mouth. I left feeling stupid and frustrated. After the pain persisted, I got a second opinion. It turns out my filling was incorrectly fitted to my tooth, the bond was fully off, and was never correctly sealed. I now will have to have it removed and redone. Dr. Sweeny will cause you lasting trauma and won’t care. Please take your money elsewhere and avoid this place.

Dr. Sweeney and her staff are consistently polite and professional. I especially appreciate that they except most forms of insurance. Her team has been quite accommodating for my schedule. They support my dental health and have wonderful massaging dental chairs.

Yeah, they try to upcharge you on stuff you prob don’t need, but I expect that from dentists. My main issue was the second male dentist that came in said my bite was off and used some tool to shave down some molars saying it might help my bite. Now my bite is even worse and my face looks super asymmetrical with my right eye and right chin pulled further down during a normal bite. I spent over 1k after on temporary filler, but am considering getting jaw surgery to fix my bite (I looked way better before). If you go here, do not let them push you into quick procedures after identifying “problems” you never though you had.
