I had such a wonderful first visit and already can’t wait to come back and see the team! Emily was so gentle and thorough with my cleaning, and the doctor was FANTASTIC - she made me feel so confident about my smile, dental health and home care! From the online scheduling, to the phone call making sure my insurance was all set, to running on time and having no wait - this has been such a good first experience and I can’t wait to tell my friends and family how great I feel leaving the dentist!!

Wonderful experience! The women at the front desk are so kind and helpful and Emily, the hygienist who helped me, was also amazing. I was slightly nervous going to a new dentist but they made everything super easy and gave me excellent care. I will always recommend them!

Absolutely the worst dentist office. I have been trying for months to resolve my dental bill and my husband's dentist bill. If you ask for an explanation, it's a made-up different reason every answer. We have never been billed for our cleaning done on our teeth. I was talked into a cleaning that was really gonna help me. Find out that bill was over $500 for me. Because it was done, I'm told I have to have a special periodontal cleaning because I'm on the verge of having a problem. So 6 months later when she cleaned my teeth, it was a very bad job. She didn't even floss them in the end. Also temporary doctor checked my mouth in 30 seconds. Later I find out part of my bill is because she is out of network. Office manager is extremely argumentative. Claims she's the boss and no one else to talk to. Billing is a nightmare! I also had taken my two grandchildren there, who have insurance, to get their teeth cleaned and they received a bill for $800. WE WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS DENTIST OFFICE!!!

Tons of appointments available to be made online. Why? Because they don’t take popular insurance (BCBSM) even though the insurance website says they are in network, and they don’t even have a permanent dentist in house. All travel dentists. Wasted time this morning for an appointment we didn’t attend unless paying out of pocket. Receptionist said they need to turn off online appointment making. Clearly are not doing it fast enough. Stay far away from this shady place.

Patients beware. After Dr. Penn & Searls sold their practice to a corporate group, the new administration has turned into a money-thirsty operation that tries to squeeze every single penny out of its patients. Out-of-network charges were applied to my account because Trenton Dental Care wouldn't bill the service under an in-network doctor, as they had done before. Turnaround in that office is rampant and noticeable given the amount of new doctors, hygienists and staff, which is evidence of the challenges they are facing. It wouldn't surprise me to see them closing for good soon. I was a patient of Dr. Penn & Searls for many years, and I never had this kind of issue because they were always transparent and friendly, certainly an experience that I haven't gotten out of the new administration. I won't be going back to that place and I highly recommend other patients not to do that either. I will rather patronize a true local and community-based dentist office.
