The Family Dentist

Absolutely a great dentist! Went for wisdom tooth pain from being impacted, scheduled me to get it out within 3 days. I personally am terrified of the dentist and he talked to me for 15 minutes to calm me down. Took him around 3 minutes to take my tooth out and gauze it up! So surprised at how great of a job he did! They take you back super quick too! Dr. Mathur is awesome, would recommend 10/10! DO NOT listen to any bad reviews, they must have had one back experience but I’ve been there twice now and he’s been great! Nice receptionists, nice dentist, nice people & great work they do!

My mother was told by this office that Dr. Mather is an oral surgeon. This is not accurate. When we arrived, I asked if he was an oral surgeon. The desk person kept answering that he did oral surgery. I pressed and asked specifically if he is a licensed oral surgeon or a licensed dentist that does extractions. Reluctantly I was told he is a dentist and that he used to be an oral surgeon in India. This office really needs to be more forthcoming with this distinction. My mother went for a preliminary exam with X-rays and will need to have all her teeth pulled. She was very clear with the doctor that she preferred a licensed oral surgeon do this procedure. He kept nagging her to use his services. Then I guess he wasn’t getting anywhere with her so he called me in the exam room. He was very dismissive of my mother and then proceeded to only talk to me about her issues. This was very disrespectful. He talked to her like she was two when he did engage her and made it very clear with his demeanor that he was put out by her desire to have her extractions done by an actual oral surgeon. We both left feeling very disappointed with this experience.

Please beware! My dad went to him in August got one tooth extraction even though the doctor want to pull 4. The gum kept getting infected and was having pieces of the tooth coming through that missed.my dad went back several times with no help. He went to another dentist And was sent to the emergency room. And admitted. Horrible dentist if you can even call him that

I've been going to Dr. Mathur's office for many years now, and I love it there. Everyone is very friendly and that makes me feel comfortable. He recently pulled my wisdom tooth and I didn't feel a thing. I didn't have any swelling the next day, and didn't need to take the pain pills. He will be pulling the other wisdom tooth soon. Daria

I have been going to Dr. Mathur for a few years now. I have always been treated with respect and everything has always been explained to me very well. After reading a couple bad reviews on this dentist, I feel pretty certain that there is more to the story than those people are saying. There is always two sides to every story. Just about everyone will find a way to complain about something. I have been to at least four other dentist's in the last 15 years and Dr. Mathur has by far been the best so far. I have always been happy with the end results of his work. Thanks Dr. Mathur and I will see you in two weeks!
