Star Ranch Family Dental

I just called to book an appointment for my wife due to her teeth hurting and I explain that her dentist is not available for a whole month hoping they can just see her to see what is wrong with her. The receptionist was rude telling me that they couldn't do anything for her and to go to a urgent care for her pain. If this is how they treat patients over the phone I'd hate to see what it's like in person. I do not recommend this dentist and they need to learn how to speak to people in a proper manner.

Never got a called that they changed their name and doctors. Had an appointment set over 6 months ago and never received a phone call confirming my appointment or any changes that were made. Went to my appointment to see doors were locked. I called and never received a call back. Very disappointed. I called to get my X-Rays and always went to voicemail. I called and left 3 voicemails and NEVER got a reply. New management is horrible.

Very nice building and most of the staff was very kind and courteous. I took one star off because of an unfortunate interaction I witnessed between the front desk woman and an elderly man. The man arrived and asked how long the appointment would take (he was injured) and the woman replied that it might be a bit of a wait because his appointment was technically not for another half hour and she offered to reschedule if that worked better for him. The man snapped and said “does it look like I can reschedule” and the woman responded “don’t be rude”. Later on I heard the man explaining that his wife had recently passed away and he had fallen down and hurt his leg. It just goes to show that you never know what someone is dealing with. Instead of handling herself in a professional manner, the receptionist took his frustration personally and gave him an attitude back and didn’t have any compassion whatsoever. Aside from that, I really enjoyed my experience and I would recommend this place.

The people at Star Ranch Family Dental are amazing! They did a wonderful job working with my kids, so I decided to get some long overdue dental work done here. I had a strong fear of dental visits, but they were very understanding and worked with me. They explained everything they were doing, gave me options, and made the whole experience very comfortable and painless! I'm definitely getting all my future dental work done here! Great for the whole family!

This dentist came by recommendation from our orthodontist. My first impression was poor as they were trying to schedule our initial appointment. They kept losing our information and I had multiple calls before they could finally get it straight. It was a bit of a headache. I think it took four different calls to finally schedule us. It was a bit of a red flag but because they came by recommendation, I proceeded with allowing my children to go there. The facility is beautiful and clean and the staff is very nice. The scheduling and billing department though seems a bit in disarray. Our most recent visit resulted in charges that I was not aware would be on my account until I received a bill in the mail. Instead of telling me we would be charged extra for a second fluoride treatment they just administered it and I received a bill for $111. Honesty and transparency is very important when it comes to Health Care. As a nurse myself, I expect this from anyone who is caring for my family as well as anyone I am caring for. I can't say it was one person that affected my decision to leave Star Ranch Family Dental but my experience in totality drove me to seek a different option.
