Dr. Damas and staff (Southwest Endodontics) have been wonderful from start to finish. From my initial consult to my procedure her professionalism, expertise, and willingness to answers all my questions/concerns was unmatched. My procedure went smoothly and I am extremely happy with the result. Would highly recommend Dr. Damas to others.

When my dentist told me I needed a root canal, I was filled with dread because my last experience in 2015 was horrible. A friend recommended that I see Dr. Damas at Southwest Endodontics and I’m glad I did. Dr. Damas, my endodontist, was very professional and thorough. She explained the procedure in detail, easing my fears. As for the root canal itself, I felt no pain during the procedure. Dr. Damas’ steady hand and calm demeanor made all the difference. Post-procedure, I received clear care instructions and left grateful that my tooth was saved. Additionally, the office staff was friendly and clearly communicated the cost breakdown, process, and timeline for insurance reimbursement, making the billing process easy to understand. If you’re facing a root canal, I highly recommend Dr. Damas and Southwest Endodontics!

I was charged, and paid for, a biopsy during an apicoectomy by Dr. Damas in Geneva in March. I found out several weeks later following my own inquiry, that this service was not provided and that the charge was a clerical error. I have asked repeatedly by email for the status of my refund. I have received some responses without any acknowledgment of the refund owed, and my last email has gone unanswered. The office has made no attempt to rectify their mistake. Besides this billing issue, the office left out another service from the insurance claim and though I have asked many times for them to submit the service they have not. In emails they have not acknowledged their omission and have wholly ignored my concern. Working with the office staff has been terrible and I recommend keeping a watchful eye on your billing if you must see a provider here.

Was referred to Southwest Endodontics by my dentist. I’ve had some nightmare experiences with root canals from other providers in the past, but this one was easy and pain-free. Dr. Damas and her tech work seamlessly together so it was quick work.

I saw Dr. Damas for the root canal and she explained everything thoroughly, she made me feel calm and secure, she even followed up with me to see how I was doing after the procedure. The receptionists and dental assistants were extremely kind, helpful and professional. The root canal was quick, painless and over before I knew it!
