Best experience ever, doctor and office manager have great listening skills and they care for their patients. They make you feel like family. I've been going to them for years, even now that I moved out of LA County and have to drive a lot to get there. I would recommend it to anyone.

This dentist destroyed my lower gums and has caused me daily pain for the last half a year. I came in for a regular cleaning with the hygienist and she noticed that my lower tooth was being a little pulled down by a flap in my mouth. She recommended that the dentist cut this flap, which she said was as easy and painless as cutting your nail cuticles. She said that if I don’t, I was at risk of losing my tooth because of the gum being pulled down a bit. The dentist told me that he would be using a laser, which would make the aftermath of the procedure virtually painless. The procedure, called a franectomy was conducted quickly and the only thing I was told was not to look in my mouth because it would look worse than it is and to rinse with salt water. I cannot over exaggerate my experience since. I was in a lot of pain. I had to take pain medicine every few hours. No one from the office ever called to follow up. I called the following Monday saying I was in a lot of pain and the office said to keep rinsing with salt water and that it should heal soon. It took weeks for the intense pain to go down a little, but when my mouth “healed” the gum on the tooth never grew back at all. There is a gap in my gum between my teeth which has been hurting daily. I went back to the dentist, who told me that I should use medicated mouthwash and come back in a week. When I asked if the gum would grow back, he said yes. When I came back a week later, the office tried to get me to do a teeth cleaning, which was confusing. I just had a cleaning a few months ago and I know insurance wouldn’t cover so soon. When I asked how a cleaning would help my missing gum they had no idea. They asked the dentist to see me who looked into my mouth and to my utter astonishment said, “ok, everything grew back.” I was extremely confusing because the gap in my gums is completely evident so I said, no there is no change from last week, to which the dentist replied, “Ok, well time for a second opinion.” I said what do you mean, you said a week ago the gum would grow back, will it? To which he said that it won’t grow back and I should see a gum grafting specialist. I said the whole point of the procedure was to fix the tiny piece of gum that was pulled down because your office said that I was at risk of losing my tooth. Now, the entire tooth is missing the gum, so I am even more at risk. The dentist literally had 0 interest to speak to me. So, they got their money for my procedure and I am left in daily pain with the only option being an expensive and another painful procedure to do gum grafting. Every procedure has the risk of complications but being told this was like cutting my cuticles and then the dentist telling me that I’m fine and my gum has grown in when it clearly hasn’t is beyond unethical and simply wrong. Beware.
