Roach Family Dentistry & Associates

I tried Roach dentistry as a new patient and was so hopeful to love them. The front office staff was great and pleasant and made it easy to make an appointment and get my insurance on file. However, once I went back for my cleaning, it was the most unpleasant experience I’ve ever had in a dental office. Let me be clear, I’ve had a root canal, a tooth extraction, braces and Invisalign… so I’ve felt and experienced it all when it comes to my teeth. But this trip took the cake. While the hygienist was cleaning my teeth, she was tearing my gums apart!! I have SCABS on my gums from where she was scratching and scraping. I figured my grunts and my moans and my telling her she was hurting me would make her more gentle. Nope, she kept going on exactly how she started. At one point I thought she was trying to rip my permanent retainer off my bottom teeth. I didn’t stay for the polishing portion or to meet the actual dentist. I’m sure the dentist is a lovely man, but this was the worst experience.

For the past 10 years I’ve been a patient here & there are many reasons I’ve never went anywhere else! The space is beautiful & comfortable, the front desk staff are kind & welcoming. The dental hygienists are friendly, efficient & knowledgeable within their roles. The same can be said of the dentists as well, who can most of the time be the most intimidating. I was recommended Roach Family Dentistry by a co-worker all those years ago and I couldn’t recommend their practice more.

There are no words to describe how appreciative I am to have found such a caring practice and my dentist Dr. Riggs All the providers there are great. I came as a lifelong complicated dental patient with tons of fear for good reason and found a practitioner that I trust and that goes out of his way and everyone in the office does to truly not just care but take care of their patients. I am very grateful to be blessed to have their expertise and the confidence I feel when I am terrified or in pain that I am being looked out for and that hopefully this message will help others like me, take a chance if they need to find a place that helps them go through a really difficult time and health. I say this is a medical practitioner myself. I’m proud to say that I refer anyone and everyone to ROACH family dentistry in Greenhills. God bless.

This is more of a comparison between my most recent visit and previous two visits at this practice. The first 2 visits I had were great. My first visit there, I told my husband that this was the best dental practice that I'd been to. They took so much time to hear my concerns (I was just going for a regular cleaning but have never loved the dentist for a variety of reasons) and ask many questions. It felt like they wanted to get to know me. This most recent visit, it felt like the quickest dental visit I've ever had in my most recent memory. The hygienist pulled me back, may have said hello & how are you doing. After that, she never really had anything else to say, and I felt the visit was rushed. I told her that my gums were sensitive while she was working on them, and she just said that makes sense because she was getting under my gums and that they were inflamed. Dentist came in, may have said hi. He did a quick glance, saw a dark spot he relayed to the hygienist, and said otherwise everything looks great. Then he left. Last visit, he told me how my teeth looked 10-20 years older than my age, now saying they look great. I just feel like after this visit, the visit felt rushed, I got different messaging from the dentist between visits, and I did not feel valued as a customer with a very quick transition from the whole team.

My experience at roach dentistry was great staff put me at ease with my cleanings and xrays. Additionally Kylie made sure to see how I was doing thru the entire process. Discounts are available and can save u money ?.

I think going to the dentist has been my least favorite thing to do but my experience at Roach Dentistry has been exceptional. The staff are friendly from the front end to the back. And let me brag on my dentist! He has been so gentle and helpful. He has always been honest; he never prescribes procedures that I can actually do without. Thank you for your exceptional service. It is truly appreciated.

I was very pleased with my first dental visit at Roach Family Dentistry and Associates today. Everyone was very welcoming and professional. I felt cared for and heard. The exam was thorough and I left with squeeky clean teeth! I also liked the way the staff worked together with respect and courtesy. I am very happy to be a part of the Roach Dental Family.

From the moment I walked in, the experience was fantastic! I was greeted with a warm smile, and even though my appointment was at 7 am, I was in the back by 7:05—talk about punctuality! Everything was explained thoroughly, and I genuinely felt listened to. I received my treatment plan which I feel is VERY affordable, everything is in house and I’m confident this will be my go-to dentist for years to come!
