Rapid City Smiles: Implant & Family Dentistry

I have been to several dentists in Rapid City. I love Rapid City Smiles. Their prices are reasonable, they never turn your health into a sales opportunity and inform you of any insurance issues before service. They are also very knowledgeable and friendly! After having many bad experiences at other places, I wouldn't go anywhere else!

Dr. Dan Graves is an exceptional dentist! He is very knowledgeable and friendly, and I can tell that he really cares about his patients! My husband and I like him so much that we travel hundreds of miles to see him twice a year for our annual checkups and to get our dental work done. I also want to mention the staff at Rapid City Smiles, they are friendly and great to work with. Dr. Dan has been my dentist for 11 years, I very highly recommend him! He is the BEST dentist ever!

While on vacation I broke a tooth. I was frantically looking for a dentist in Rapid City. I called several other dentists offices in the area all of which had no appointments available. I finally reached Rapid City Smiles who were able to see me the next day. From the time I walked in the door I was made to feel at ease. The receptionist was very friendly, Isiah the dental assistant made me feel comfortable and Dr. Graves was very friendly and thorough. Dr. Graves assured me he would take care of my tooth and explained all possible procedures that he might have to do and informed me of the cost of each procedure. He prepared me for the worst case scenario in case that is what was needed. Fortunately, he was able to fix the tooth with the least invasive procedure, he instructed me on what to do once I arrived home from my vacation and what to do if any complications happened once I left his office. During the course of the procedure, Dr. Graves learned we were vacationing and told my husband and I about some places we should visit while in the area. I would recommend Rapid City Smiles to anyone. If I lived in the area, I would become a patient of Dr. Graves. In fact, my husband already recommended Rapid City Smiles to a local person!

I was wanting to quit chewing tobacco. My thought was if I invested in veneers for myself I would want to keep them looking nice & this would be my incentive. Therefore, I googled veneers in South Dakota. Many dentistries popped up. I carefully creeped all of their websites and read the reviews. I had a gut feeling about Rapid City Smiles and Kept going back to their website. After many hours of research I made the BEST decision to go to Rapid City Smiles. At my first consult with Dr. Dan, I was nervous & scared. He made me feel so comfortable with his treatment plan. When needed, Dr. Dan was willing to stay late and arrive early, to accomplish finishing my veneers in 3 days. They look absolutely amazing! I love them! Let’s not forget Dr. Dan’s wonderful staff! They accommodated my every need; they chitchatted with me, they brought me a blanket when I’d get cold, and at all times, they made sure that I was comfortable. If you’re wanting a positive change with your teeth/smile go to Rapid City Smiles. You will not go wrong with them. Last, my teeth look so amazing I have not taken a chew of tobacco in a week..after 40 years.. I am done with that nasty habit!

Love them! The staff is really great every time I come in. You can tell they make an effort to learn your name. There have been times I've walked in and they just say "hi! I'll get you checked in." Dr. Dan really goes above and beyond to help you out, even when it doesn't benefit him financially. I grind my teeth terribly. I probably went through 4 retainers that kept cracking before we found one that worked, never charged once until this final one. If youve been to a few dentists you can tell who just wants to make money and who actually cares about you, this Dr is the latter. The real star there for me is my hygienist Maddison. She is an absolute delight, probably one of the most friendly people I've ever met. She remembers things I can't believe a person I saw 6 months ago remembers. I sat down in the chair and she says "how's the dogs?" Both my husband and I have talked about how kind and knowledgable she is. She also took it on herself to look into my insurance to see if fluoride treatments were covered under my insurance. This was without me asking, it's just because she cared. Overall I've had very positive experiences with Rapid City Smiles. My only complaint would be the lack of parking which makes it difficult during peak times.

I'm very pleased after my first appointment with Dr Dan, Sierra, and the office staff. The office staff was friendly. Sierra was gentle and pleasant. Dr Dan took time to answer my questions, and he adjusted my crown created by previous dentist, and I can now chew on that side without discomfort.
