Platinum Dental Hawaii

My wife and I have been very happy with Platinum Dental. We've gone to them for cleanings, fillings, and a crown. We've been so satisfied that we continued going to them after moving to the windward side. Update: Dr. Wrobel is retiring but I met the new doctor today and she is thorough and good. We will continue driving in from the windward side.

The building is easy to locate, and also is on the first floor so great for older patients such as my grandma who has a hard time walking up stairs. Dr. Doug is the BEST on the island. Very professional, makes the experience of being in a dental procedure comfortable. Great staff, friendly, very helpful and passionate about their work.

Great experience overall! The doctor and all the team members are the best. They always show the utmost care and professionalism when meeting. Great job on tooth fillings, cleaning... etc. The clinic is clean and the hygiene conditions are really good.

Dr. Wrobel is the BEST dentist on the island. I have been a patient for several years now because he is professional, thorough, thoughtful, gentle, & simply has done great job on all of the (extensive) work I've had done. I appreciated that he did my first cleaning himself when I became a new patient so that he could "get to know my mouth", and as a terrified dental patient, he has truly made me feel comfortable every time I've come in. He also was the dentist that found a solution to my grinding teeth! After years of expensive night guards that didn't work, he recommended a smaller device called an NTI that does the trick! No other dentists in my past were able to help me. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND DR. WROBEL! Also, he recently moved - he has a beautiful new office in the Hawaii Kai Towne Center with plenty of parking. C:

Decided to find a new dentist in crazy 2020. Dr. Wrobel and his staff amazing.

The first-time cleaning appointment was very disappointing. Not only kept me waiting for more than half an hour, but the hygienist spent more than half of time " educating" me why I need to schedule another two deep cleaning appointments, in which she could have just cleaned it right now ironically. Is that some sort of tactic to get more insurance claims and insurers' money by scheduling unnecessary appointments and provide only one third of service only at a time? The cleaning was done very slow and sloppy only at the superficial level. No standard cleaning steps such as flossing, polishing were performed during the visit.
