Park Clifford a DDS

A Grateful Tribute: Dr. Clifford Park (deceased) in memoriam. He was a friendly, approachable, most kind, accomplished dentist. A graduate of the University of Washington Dental School, he was my primary dentist for an estimated 15 years (perhaps much longer) before his sudden, unexpected passing. Classical music played in his dental office background, as a he pursued his daily, one-of-a-kind professional dentistry. He himself also was also an accomplished classical pianist. We candidly discussed my dental issues and needs at hand. He was up-front and candid about all of his procedures. Some were borderline calls. He allowed me to weigh-in. And, our decisions were usually right. Dr. Park's care for others extended well beyong the dental office. He and other medical staff staff served on remote good-will dental tours to Nepal to help those in need. I was one of those very lucky behind the scenes partners, who helped finance his valuable, unheralded overseas work. He wanted it kept that way. But now, he can't stop me from honoring his memory by telling others. He was an amazing human-being who helped to keep my dental expenses to a minimum. Dr. Park was an approachable, kind individual, whose professional dental skills, in my opinion, rivaled the very best on these islands. His office was on the 10th floor in Room 1022 of the Pan American Building at 1600 Kapiolani Boulevard. We talked story while he worked on my tooth (and over the years on my teeth). Well, he did most of the talking. My mouth was wide open, with dental equipment and suction apparatus in it most of the time. :):):) When finally I did get a chance to talk (while told to gargle), I had to remember and hit all the key points that he had made. He was a WONDERFUL human-being and an accomplished, respect dentist Dr. Clifford Park, D.D.S., you are sorely missed. Thank YOU for ALL that YOU did personally for me and for both of my late parents as well. They too very much appreciated your care and outstanding dental work. You live on in my heart and mind. Mahalo nui loa. Thank YOU so very much. This post HONORS your humanity, kindness to so many others, and your outstanding dental skills. May your example and memory inspire others. And, to ALL of you CAREGIVERS, this post is also a tribute to each one of you who are patiently, lovingly caring for your elderly, aging parents. Dr. Park patiently cared for the dental needs of my parents. This entry also describes several incidents (they just suddenly happened without any warning), where additional resourcefulness was required to pull us through our unexpected encounters. A Spoiler Alert: On one difficult occasion, firefighters from across the street, came to Mom and my timely rescue. The tribute is ALSO to and for YOU as you continue to help and serve your elderly folks. Please kindly share this tribute with any others as you feel (see) appropriate. Hopefully, it may (will) help and encourage a family member, friend, or neighbor struggling along an uncertain, difficult pathway.

Dr. Park is the best dentist that I have ever been to. His skills are excellent and overall compassion for his patients demonstrates his work ethics and personality to be the perfect combination. His staff is highly skilled and always helpful and friendly, the appointments wait time is 5 to 10 minutes which is very helpful and it’s an example of his time management expertise. He is always available for emergency services as well. Please select him to take care of your dental needs, you will be receiving top notch care. I feel blessed to have the privilege to be one one his many satisfied patients!

My all time fave dentist. We have going to Dr. Park for 40 years and he can do everything! Fillings, crowns, pulling teeth. Always. Kam, kind, and incredibly talented in his dental abilities…
