I’m a retired dentist, so in a position to know: Dr. Oleynik is top notch. A compassionate and skilled doctor, with the philosophy of doing what’s necessary, not what he can talk you into. As honest as the day is long.I’ve referred patients to him when they’ve moved from my community to his, and they have always been well satisfied.

The receptionist is fantastic, truly, and the hygienist I saw is perhaps the nicest woman you’ve ever met. Dr. Ken seemed very knowledgeable and you can tell he cares about what he does. My situation is an anomaly as Dr. Ken’s daughter actually did my filling, but the filling was not done properly. The whole experience was actually a bit troubling as, given she comes from another office, she normally uses different equipment, was visibly uncomfortable and didn’t know where anything was. But the filling was over and done with, and I figured everything was probably fine. She is a dentist after all in her own right! However, I had to come back into the office because of lingering pain several weeks later and was told there was nothing wrong with the filling. Unfortunately, just months later I have to pay several hundred dollars for a crown on that tooth because the filling does indeed need to be redone. Overall, I’m disappointed in my (short) experience with Oleynik & Oleynik and am happy I started seeing a new dentist.

The dental office of Dr Oleynik in Shelton is such a pleasure , he is extremely patient and explains in detail all the steps to give you the best experience in dental care , plus his office is charming , you don’t feel like you are just a number in a glamorous office , very warm and homey , I highly recommend a visit!!

Dr. Ken and his staff are extremely kind and professional. They provide a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. I have been coming to this practice for many years and I would definitely recommend him to anyone in the area. Dr. Ken takes the time to explain everything thoroughly and answers any questions I may have. He even takes time to get to know me, not just my teeth. Thank you to Dr. Ken and his extraordinary staff.
