Arda is the best hygienist my family has ever had in my life and Ramon ALWAYS is pleasant and goes above and beyond to help coordinate insurance price for treatments for my kids. When any of our friends ask for a dentist recommendation we don’t hesitate to give them your information. Thank you!

I wanted to post this to save someone like me from going to this place. This was my first dentist visit without my parents and I was told by the Doctor that I had 5 cavities. The hygienist told me I had gingivitis and instead of explaining to me why she came to that conclusion she put on a short video demonstrating what gingivitis is and left. I’m so glad I trusted my intuition and walked out before the cleaning began. I went to Mak & Klieger Dentistry on Walnut afterwards. I unfortunately paid out of pocket for my exam since my insurance was used for the I had one at Newport that morning but it was money worth spent. I HAD NO CAVITIES AND NO GINGIVITIS. Anyways, Newport dental you are a scam, I highly recommend Mak & Klieger! Lol

I went to Newport Dental to get my teeth cleaned on my medicare advantage insurance. They told me I needed two gold crowns replaced and a deep cleaning because the pockets in my gums measured 6 and 7. I had my teeth cleaned under my old insurance by the dentist I had been going 6 months prior with no problems. Newport Dental wanted $1500 for the work they said I needed. I told them no thank you and left. I went to my old dentist. I did not need deep cleaning because the pockets were 3 and 4. I also did not need any crowns replaced. This place takes advantage of its patients and upsells things they do not need!

I got my braces here and the price was very fair! The staff and dentist were very nice and helpful, they always made an effort to be fast and efficient all while being friendly. My orthodontist was friendly as well as informative. Ramon, one of the from office workers, was extremely helpful at helping me find appointments that best fit my schedule and always helped with any questions I had. Overall my experiences here were great and I will continue coming!

Maria has a lack costumer service skills, she is rude with no manners to talk to people. It seems that she doesn't like her job . Management needs to do something about this person. She gives a negative vibe to the rest of the staff .

DO NOT GET YOUR WISDOM TEETH PULLED HERE!!! They promised that they would put me to sleep, my insurance approved it and I verified that. The dental surgeon proceeded to lie to me and convince me that being put to sleep would be "dangerous" so I got all 4 pulled awake. They said I needed to pay $400 for a bone graft which wasn't approved by insurance. Okay, fine. More on that later.. So they pull all 4 teeth, and the dental assistant proceeds to run through the after care instructions super fast. I didn't retain half of what she said. So I asked her the best I could (all 4 teeth now pulled, blood and so much gauze in my mouth I can barely talk) if she could tell that to my girlfriend who's waiting in the waiting room. She says, "no. You're an adult you can take care of yourself, maybe if you were a kid but you're not." So then I make my way to the front office, where the lady who only cares about money makes me get on the computer to try and log into my bank acct because I left my phone and wallet at home because i was supposed to be put to sleep, again, AFTER the surgery. Gauze in my mouth, blood. Can't talk hardly at all. I just want to go home and stop bleeding. Finally my girlfriend came and put it on her credit card so I could just pay her back later. Terrible. All they care about it turning patients over as fast as possible, and money.
