Nelson Orthodontics

Our experience left us disappointed . My daughter had her treatment with Dr Nelson and found him to be not personable and staff unprofessional. She was always nervous going to her appointments.

Over 2 and a half years, and this is my result. My crowding wasn't bad enough for the treatment to take this long in addition to having to wear a retainer throughout the day after I ended the treatment. I also would have had to pay additional money to replace my retainer after being worn down do to dealing with stress. There are things that could have been done to rotate the tooth seen in the pic but after almost 3 years of treatment, nothing. I just should have gone with braces as suggested by my dentist. The doctor there and the staff didn't take me seriously when I stated I couldn't afford to replace my retainer. A waste of time, money, and effort of consistently wearing my trays. My advice would be to explore other providers.

My daughter loves your practice! She was very pleased with your staff over these past 3 years. She was honestly sad to have to get her braces taken off at her last visit. We are truly grateful for all your hard work, your kindness, and your consistent commitment to communication throughout this process!

The staff is always friendly and courteous. The entire team from beginning to end was professional. My braces are off and my teeth look absolutely amazing. Thanks to you all for making this a pleasant experience. Highly recommend ‼️

My child was crying for 20 mins during her appointment bc the doctor was hurting her and he didn't notice her tears rolling down her face. But another assistant did and came over to help calm her down. And the office never called me. Her grandmother took her bc I was at work. She doesn't even want to go back. But she has to. Luckily she won't be seeing that doctor again. I'm very disappointed with the lack of communication from this office. When I called to discuss this I was told they were short staffed and they dont have time to talk to the parents. But that's not acceptable. I've never been updated as to what happened at her appointments. Almost 7 thousand dollars and no communication. Just disappointed bc I thought we made a good choice with this facility. Short staffed or not my kid shouldn't be crying for half an hour and I didn't get a call.

I have 2 kids who are patients. They were scheduled the same day but 50mins apart. My daughter comes 10mins early to sit about 30mims before she's called back. I leave bc my son was in the car. My son and I come 10 mins early to his appt. We sit and notice he never get called back. I asked what time they close and they said 5pm. (It's 4:53). I'm confused on how FOUR employees are sitting at the front desk and see a child sitting in front of them and don't ask any questions? As soon as he walked in, we should've been told he was called 18mins earlier than his appointment. The lack of professionalism and use of common sense at this office is disgusting. I called prior to update my phone number which they didn't do. However they have my email and didn't use that either. His appointment was missed and they were smiling. No apologies, no offer to reschedule, no resolution. So yes I definitely wouldn't recommend this orthodontist office to anyone!!!
