I was scheduled for an appointment and was called a few hours before as I was making my way there that my appointment was canceled. I spoke with someone names Abby & was asked to reschedule which I didn’t mind as long as it was soon as a I have a dental emergency and I’ve already waited a month to be seen. Instead of being apologetic for the inconvenience it caused she continued to speak over me & show that she did not care to hear anything. She stated that the next available wouldn’t be until another month ahead & kept repeating “you can reschedule now or call another time” extremely rude & in a rush so of course I tried to get a hold of a manager because I needed to be seen ASAP. She said I needed to be placed on hold so she put the phone down & I’m guessing she’s hope I would hang up because I was not put on hold & I was hearing all the background noise including her complaints about my request. She was extremely dismissive to begin with & I was on the bus with my children in the rain on my way to my supposed appointment so I was very upset. Finally after the phone being down for 7 mins she must have realized that I was still there & actually put me on hold. I was then transferred to a completely different office (Oregon city). As I was talking to the person in the other office trying to situate everything, I get a call back on the other line from Abby who then states who she is & just transfers me to the managers voicemail. I did leave a message. I waited a few hours for a response & grew impatient due to my dental discomfort so I called back & I was told that my appointment was canceled & that they would be able to get me in the next day & I expressed to her that I was told there was no availability for a month & she stated that was not the case. I am a new patient so this was a very bad first impression for me because of the customer service over the phone. If you work in a professional setting you should be a but more professional with people & less dismissive & more patient.
I've been waiting for an hour and still no assistance. I was early for my appointment and still nothing. I've also noticed that 90% of the staff is Hispanic. So, helping an old, white guy isn't something that comes naturally. I had to complain to upper management just to get seen within 3 months! That's just not how preventative medical care is done.
I don't even know where to start this does not deserve ever 1 star. My husband had an appointment with Dr.Carrasco recently and was treated like DIRT i have never in my life seen such an arrogant distrustful provider with the worst best side Mannor. I WOULD NOT RECCOMMED THIS CLINIC TO ANYONE. And you wonder why the depression rate is so high you certainly cant talk to your provider.DO NOT GO TO NHC
I want to share my review to warn others against this place! I was turned away numerous times after letting my doctor know that I was not feeling well and I knew something was wrong. They wouldn’t give me five minutes of their time. I’m not even sure if they have or meet qualifications necessary to care. It’s more for if you just have a bug or something extremely minor. I ended up having ductal carcinoma( Breast cancer) It could have been caught early had they actually cared for me. I’m 34 and they treated me as if I was drug seeking. I let them know I had extremely bad inflammation and never even looked at me. I have seen 4 different doctors there and same result. I’m just shook by the care of this place. One doctor actually looked at me and told me “I don’t know how to treat you from here” I think they just want to be able to do this minimum possible and collect an insurance check.
Actually, they deserve 0 stars. Last week, I suppose I have an appointment with Dr. Tyrone. They didn't tell me he called in sick. And the person in the office never said sorry for that, and she didn't ask me if I want to reschedule, she did it by herself, and she rescheduled for today Friday, I came back, the same person in the office, she said oh your appointment was last week 10/13th, I told I came in and the doctor didn't show up and you reschedule it for today and I showed he the card with her handwriting saying that my appointment is today, she kept looking in the computer and went somewhere then she came back, then she said I'm sorry but if you want to reschedule it or talk to a nurse. I'm so mad, I really need my medicine for my chronic terrible migraine and my stomach issues, I'm out of my medicine now. Zero zero zero customer service. I have to find another provider. I'm really mad.
The dental office here is terrible. My partner received poor care and exceptionally poor treatment at their hands. The dentists and hygeinists are dismissive and rude. She advocated for herself and made it clear she had dental trauma, she went through all the proper steps to get treatment and was refused treatment when she stood up for herself. Just because you treat low income patients doesn't mean you can treat them like second class citizens.
My son used to go there. The nurse did not care about my one year old son she was not gentle with him and hit his head on weight scale, very mean nurses, take a lifetime to make an appointment or answers from staff.
