Nappy Lam DDS

Ooh, I just had my teeth cleaned —like literally, walked out the door from Dr Nappy Lam’s office to write this review, in my car. Now, unlike many folks, I love going to the dentist, particularly because a dentist literally saved my life from an abscess in the early 2000s. But I really LOVE this dentist. Everyone from the receptionist, to the hygienist (hi Karen ;) and of course the esteemed Dr. Nappy Lam DDS are wonderful people. You can tell that they love what they do. And they care about you. For that moment you are with them, your care and safety is their only concern. I’d give seven stars if I could. Yes, go here! They will make you feel better and help you have a better day, and leave a beautiful smile on your face.

I have never been a huge fan of dentists, so I avoided going in for cleanings for years. Decided to bite the bullet and see a dentist and saw Dr. Lam’s local and had great reviews. I am so lucky I picked this practice. Every time I have gone in the staff has been great and the Dr. has been amazing as well. Dr. Lam explains everything very well and makes me feel comfortable, even when handling cavities. I’ll stay on the 6 month schedule moving forward!

This is the dental clinic a dentist goes to for themselves. I (also a dentist) and many others I know do so. Dr. Lam is honest, kind, efficient, and always has your best interests at heart. Could not recommend enough.

The staff were really nice and helpful, however I was not impressed by the dentist. I was referred here when my dentist was on vacation for a dental emergency. He wouldn't believe me when I was explaining my discomfort and his advice, take more pain medication. Did you know you can take more advil than is instructed on the bottle?

Dr. Nappy Lam and his staff are just incredible in the work they do and the kindness they show to their patients (as well as the incredible volunteer work Dr Lam does). I have been going to Dr Lam and I appreciate his willingness to work with me on schedules and payment plans and his caring demeanor. Everyone in the office is great including Shelly (who has moved on but was amazing) and Robin (such an incredible person and hygienist) and Karen, Vicky and Syeera and everyone who has helped. I have been meaning to write this for a long time and if you are looking for a dentist or to recommend a dentist in Portland, OR this is your team for sure. My teeth are great and I thank Dr Lam and the staff for EVERYTHING!

I've been a patient of Nappy Lam for a few years and it's one of the best experiences I've had at a dentist. Professional, welcoming, and consistent are a few things that come to mind when thinking of this practice. The entire staff from front desk, to technician and Dr. Nappy Lam himself are all one of a kind. Very grateful I found this place. I highly recommend to anyone.

Dr Lam is a really wonderful dentist. He’s kind, listens to you, and he works quickly, painlessly, and well. I’m so glad to have found him and his office!
