Was initially body blocked by a tech for wanting to accompany my younger child in the back (as his first time at Ortho and with special needs) but allowed in once I stood my ground. Other techs were nicer but Dr. A was anything but. Only tried to ask a few clarifying questions about the surprising recommended treatment… received a combative, argumentative, rude attitude that talked down and over me. (Watched her giggle and exchange pleasantries with all other patients/parents in the room until she got to us and unsure why.) It was incredibly uncomfortable, awkward and a shockingly negative experience for both of us. I’ve also never had or heard of a dentist give away a big gulp cup full of hard, chewy candy encouraging each child patient to eat it… so many red flags from the second we entered to our exit.
