Lori M LoVette DDS

I’ve been going to see Dr. LoVette since I was 5 years old. Dr. LoVette and her staff are super friendly and make you always feel comfortable. Dr. LoVette has always provided me with the best dental care. I’ve moved away from Oklahoma City twice and still make appointments and travel to see her. I know i’m always in good hands. I really enjoy working with Cora at the front desk, who I appreciate calling me and reminding me about my appointments. Cora was very helpful with my insurance as well! You can never go wrong with Debbie, Nicole or Nikki working along side Dr. LoVette. These young ladies always make sure I have the best appointments. Debbie always makes me laugh and will make sure I know what to expect during the appointment. She is very informative and makes me feel very comfortable. Dr. LoVette’s staff is always friendly and keeps such positive vibes throughout the dental office. Dr. LoVette has made sure I’ve had the best smile in town. I highly recommend Dr. LoVette and her staff, she will only give you the best dental care around.

My worst dental experience in my life was with Lori LoVette. I went to her 7/15/24 for routine fillings, and she used an unlicensed dental assistant (her office manager, Cora Reed). Lori was visibly angry during the procedure and started snatching equipment from Reed's hands and sort of dropping it toward her when she was done with it - so essentially they were playing tug of war with dental equipment about six inches above my face. Eventually, because of this stellar hand-off method, they dropped dental equipment on my face. Lori also didn't use cotton to control saliva during the procedure and kept wiping her hands on her lab coat and returning them to my mouth, which personally, I found repulsive. Reed even asked if she wanted a towel to wipe off her hands, and Lori declined, preferring to use her lab coat. I wouldn't trust Lori to perform any dental procedure because I expect dental professionals to have the ethical baseline not to work with unlicensed staff and a skill baseline not to drop equipment on patient's faces. Additionally, both Lori and her staff asked incredibly unnecessary and personal questions during a routine visit. Most of my first visit with her was her asking invasive questions about the medications I'm on and conditions I have that have absolutely nothing to do with dental health. Her office has an open-office setup and you can hear everything anyone says in the exam rooms, waiting room, etc., from anywhere else in the office, so this was embarrassing, but I felt obligated to answer her questions. It felt like a weird power play and/or like she was pretending to be a doctor or something. Lori and her staff were also incredibly condescending. On my first visit, she asked if I'd even brushed my teeth that day (?!), and her office staff asked if I'd left my previous dentist because I owed them money (?!). The assumption seemed to be that I was poor grifter who had never brushed their teeth before, and that was how I was treated. I would strongly recommend anyone who isn't comfortable with dentists to not go to Lori LoVette.

Amazing dentist. Went to get a few cavities done with Dr. LoVette. Was pretty nervous about the procedure. She walked me through it and made it me feel very comfortable.

Fantastic dentist who takes the time to discuss options as well as makes sure you are comfortable with a treatment plan. Professional and friendly staff and great customer service. I actually look forward to going to the dentist!

Dr. LoVette and staff are the best! Im new to the area and highly recommend. Dr. LoVette and her staff made my experience comfortable and easy.
