My first visit to Longwood Dental was actually for a second opinion about surgery suggested by my present dentist. Dr. Sandy Perez was very informative and explained his thoughts thoroughly. I am very appreciative of his help. While going down the hall to the room we used, I observed what looked like very clean and organized work spaces. The staff were quite pleasant and helpful.

Longwood Dental is a first class practice. All the staff is friendly and helpful. Chrissy my hygienist is amazing in her perfection of cleaning teeth. Also, Dr. Boschetti is wonderful and has done multiple procedures that were a breeze - so talented. Thank you both!

I had a great experience with the dental services I received, however, the billing practices are extremely sketchy. Due to relocation, I found a new dental provider, and over a year after I left Longwood Dental tried charging me for a cleaning from 2022 (even though I had dental insurance). I never received a clear answer on how or why it was never paid as I always had dental insurance and even had Invisalign, so I would have received some sort of statement over two years with any unpaid balance. They told me my insurance was terminated at the time of the service, but it never was - my insurance company told me that Longwood Dental never billed them for the service and they missed the deadline, so they then went after me for it. Completely unprofessional and sketchy.

Longwood Dental (LD) is a factory like dental office. They are great for bi-annual cleanings. Unless they cancel your appointment and neglect to reschedule one. My advice is if you have an emergency…. DO NOT go there. My experience as a patient of three years and of reasonable satisfaction is that if you don’t have an appointment go somewhere else. I recently had terrible tooth pain. LD took me in on a Thursday. Gave me antibiotics. Told me to come back on Monday if not feeling better. I called on Sunday, left a message that I needed to come in on Monday. I called Monday morning in an attempt to get a jump on the day. I was told “I doubt we can get you in today and that someone will call you back.” The return call was Tuesday at 3:50 pm. (Over 32 hours later.) Needless to say….. I called another endodontist on Monday morning and by Monday afternoon he performed a root canal. Simply stated…… do not go to Longwood Dental in an emergency. They do not have your well being as a priority. Also, they love, love to take x-rays!!!

Unfortunately I had a very bad experience at Longwood Dental. Was referred there for a crown and it’s been over a year now since the procedure and I still experience pain when chewing. Longwood offered no compensation other than willing to make several bite adjustments however they did not solve the issue. The crown itself was done during one visit other than the traditional 2 visit procedure which may have been the problem. The only other option LWD suggested was to have a root canal at additional cost. I got two other opinions and both Endodontist’s said I did not need to have a root canal. I had refused to pay the balance due until they fixed my crown and at one point they refused to see me until I paid the balance but later agreed to see me due to the circumstances. I eventually paid the balance after they threatened to take it to a collection agency. It was quite an embarrassing experience. Needless to say, I will not be returning to LWD.
