I hate going to the dentist. Everything about it. Getting stabbed in you gums, the feeling of the drills. The scraping. ? That being said, Dr. LeMense made the experience good. He is gentle and considerate of his patients. He makes sure you are completely comfortable before beginning his work. The VA sent me to him and I am happy they did. He did a lot of work because it has been over a decade since I had my teeth looked at. Now that he is done I can say I am overjoyed with the results. Thank you Dr. LeMense.

Have been with him for over 26 years, service has always been fantastic. Each visit has been the same quality of service. The staff are family now, they have always treated me as family member. I highly recommend his services.

Dr. Lemense and his team are fantastic! I have struggled to find a dentist that makes me feel comfortable and heard. They checked in with me throughout my procedures and paused when I need time to relax my jaw or take a deep breath. Very trauma informed and considerate! Couldn't recommend them more. They are not in-network with my insurance but I gladly pay them a little extra to make sure I am comfortable!

Great dentist, very honest, direct, and open about your options for any given procedure. The staff is friendly and helpful and always straightforward about costs, scheduling, and any issues I've had. Dr. Lemense helped me form a detailed plan to fix my long-neglected teeth and was extremely supportive and informative during the entire process. Great dentist, great guy, great team. I highly recommend this practice and hope he sticks around in the KC area for many years to come!

I am extremely disappointed in our experience with Dr. LeMense's office staff, he himself is a great doctor and was very friendly and accommodating to my Husband when he needed to see a dentist, we are new to the Kansas City area and do not know many people so finding a good dentist was important. After my husbands first dental appointment he was pressured into coming back for another appointment that he really didn't have time for, coming up on the date of the appointment my husband's car needed a new part and was in the shop getting fixed, I had to take him to work that morning and having a full time job myself and an appointment at the same time he was unable to go, he called to cancel and the woman on the other line was very unprofessional taking the call with drawn out "well, okaaay, if you're really sure you want to" answers almost as if to make my husband feel guilty for not coming, she did not mention any cancellation policy (nor was this ever mentioned from the start of my husband coming to this dentist). Two days later we receive a bill in the mail for the appointment that my husband had no option but to cancel because he had NO way of even getting there on that day! Again, the woman on the phone never mentioned a cancellation policy or notified us that we would still be billed, OR, gave us the option to reschedule. The company I work for has a cancellation policy, so I am in no way against them, what I am against is having employees who are have no knowledge of what company policies are and cannot maintain a professional manner in which they are speaking when someone cancels, or give their customers a little grace and understanding, if someone calls me to cancel and they have a reason that absolutely prevents them from being able to come, I wave the fee or reschedule, because that's what a good company should do. We are beyond disappointed with our experience and will NOT be recommending this dentist to anyone who asks for our opinion.
