I went to this dentist originally to get a filling replaced after it had fell out. It ended up being a horrible fill it was over lapping my bite line way too far and was being hit every time I tried to chew. So I had a scheduled routine cleaning already and expressed the pain I was having from the filling. They did x-rays and surprise it wasn’t done correctly. Then, they proceeded to tell me I had four other cavities I wanna say that needed to be filled. So I scheduled for those to be took care of and on top of that the filling that I had done that was done incorrectly. For whatever reason they decided to give me the same woman that did my filling completely incorrectly to do all the other fillings. Surprise those were done and a month later I was having extreme pain in almost all the fillings that were done and had to go back and thought of course after expressing the concerns I had i’d get x-rays done to figure out the issue. Instead I got a lecture by a grown man telling me i’m basically delusional and that there’s nothing wrong with my teeth and that it’s normal after regular fillings to be in so much pain a month later as well as him arguing with my grandma that we’re practically stupid. Didn’t give me x-rays or anything just one bite check. So the same after noon I went to a different dentist that actually knew what they were doing and they immediately took multiple bite checks, filled down the same filling that was done twice here because it was still incorrect, and took four x-rays. Was told I needed two additional cavities filled this dentist office never informed me was there, a root canal with the tooth I told this dentist was giving me extreme discomfort because the tooth is cracked and the filling is pushing on a huge nerve as well as needing a crown over top. Then the same filling that this dentist did twice needed to be done again and might need a root canal from so much damage that was done. They went over every tooth in my mouth with me via x-ray and explained and showed every issue. Multiple fillings that were done at this dentist had gaps underneath causing painful sensitivity. So all in all I wasted insurance paid fillings on this terrible dentist office to have incorrectly done all of them as well as further issues that were never mentioned to me and now have to spent multiple thousand to not be in pain.

The dental visit was great. Dr. James Smith is an excellent dentist. Always informative to what the dental plan will be. Always answers any questions or concerns I have. His staff is so nice and very helpful. I would recommend this dental staff to everyone I know.

Loved the office atmosphere and how friendly everyone was. Treated my kids with kindness and explained every step. Loved my whole experience.

There is absolutely nothing to say bad. Wonderful Caring staff that is including Dr Smith. I feel totally at ease, knowing I am in the hands of good knowledgeable people that have my best interest. Wouldn't go anywhere else

Truly appreciate the help and info they gave to me today. I feel one step closer to feeling like myself again.

Every single visit is better than the last. If enjoying the holidays with family involved sharp objects, suction tubes, and a miniature tube of toothpaste, visiting Jeffersonville Family Dental would feel just like Christmas Day. They are the gravy to my mashed potatoes.

Staff is always friendly, office is always clean and my oral health concerns are addressed professionally and with care for my well-being. Marcia is the best, and largely the reason I come here for my dental care. This visit was to place a crown on a chipped broken molar. Dr. Smith and Amanda took great care in my comfort and Dr. Smith explained every step of the procedure. I did not experience any discomfort during the procedure or the next day.
