Customer Reviews
My first visit for an evaluation and second opinion. I had been told by another provider that I required complicated and expensive dental work including surgery. Dr. Nicolo was caring, thorough and informative. His office staff compassionate and understanding in dealing with my anxiety with my situation. In particular Kathy, his assistant, was superior. While I may need this work sometime in the future, my situation is not dire as I was led to believe. I will continue to be seen by this provider.
The worst front of house client customer care services. After having almost $5k in dental work including an implant (which has a gap between the gum and the implant) I was billed relentlessly for an unexplained $10 charge and advised to get a waterpik to deal with the implant gap. The dentist was smug, uncaring and money hungry.
Jefferson dental was great. They were very welcoming. The staff were very informative. Everything they’ve said they was going to provide me they did on the spot. All information was very clear and precise. Staff also take the time out and write all the information down on paper as well. Easy to schedule appointments with staff. They all provide you their undivided attention from the front desk representative, the dental assistant, and the dental doctor. Dental assistant “Kate/katie” is phenomenal. Very nice. Acknowledge you on the entire process from beginning to end. I didn’t even know I was at the dentist that how comfortable Katie made me feel. Great personality!! Great service provided by her and the dental doctor. Phenomenal office would recommend attending this dentist office.
I have been going here for my dental care for years. Staff are very kind, professional, and competent. For my most recent teeth-cleaning, I was in and out in 30 minutes!
Had my first appointment today. The dental care itself was very good- my dentist seemed quite knowledgable and the assistant was very friendly. However, for others considering this office, you should be aware that the first dental visit does NOT include a routine cleaning which needs to be scheduled as a second visit. This is the only dentist I am aware of that operates in such a way. There was an appointment with the hygienist available but I needed to wait around for it and ended up needing to take off additional time from work. Finally, I was a bit disheartened to observe the way the check-out receptionist treated a patient who was confused over his finances. She spoke loudly and condescendingly (hence why I heard it from the waiting room) and it seemed unnecessarily rude. If a patient cannot afford payment for the day's services, politely offer them a payment plan or options for financing. Condescendingly telling the patient "I have a hard time believing you were not told previously that you needed to pay" didn't seem right and the whole conversation was very loud when it should have been quieter as finances are a sensitive manner and it can be embarrassing for patients struggling financially. Bit disappointed in that regard.
