Galper Mitchell H DDS

I'm new to LA and began going to Dr. Galper about a year ago. He told me I had a cavity. Even though it had been 18 years since I had one, I figured it happens and he filled it for me. He redid another filling I had and misplaced the anesthetic and it instead affected my vocal cords and made it somewhat hard to breathe. He did apologize and asked me to concentrate on my breathing while he redio my filling. I couldn't talk, eat or even drink for a couple of hours because I lost control over those muscles. I came back for my 6 month cleaning and he told me I had another cavity. This set off alarm bells because two in a year doesn't sound possible for the way I take care of my teeth. I went to two other dentist, in different offices and unrelated, and they both told me it is staining and not a cavity as nothing "stuck" or was "sticky". I'll never know if that other cavity really was a cavity or just staining and I hope I have better luck finding a new dentist.

I've been going to the guys for more years than I can remember, at least 20 years. I tell all my friends about them. They are the some of the best dentists in town. Additionally, You can't beat the view of Los Angeles and the Hollywood Hills from the 17th floor dentist chairs.

I've been coming to this office twice a year for 15 YEARS! Yep, 15! And I've enjoyed every visit. I feel like I get the best quality treatment at very reasonable rates. They take my insurance, and there has never been an issue. Dr. Galper even made me a retainer in lieu of more expensive orthodontics that I needed to save up for. The hygienists are all great and personable as is the upfront staff. So glad I got the right dentist all those years ago! Thank you Dr. Galper and Dr. Bauer! ameenah

The dentistry at Dr Galper, DDS and Martin , DMD is superb! Their dental hygienist " Kim" is the best that I have ever seen. Very thorough, professional and knowledgeable in every aspect. This is the place to go!

I have had the honor to have my teeth cleaned by Miguel for years now (every six months) and Dr. Galper has been supportive and caring just like the rest of his staff. If you're looking for a new dentist, I'd recommend you checking these guys out. Dr. Bauer is not my dentist but I do know him through an association we both belong to and I can tell you, he's a good guy.
