Excellent experience working with Gables! My husband and I recently re-did our living room bay window and wanted to add shades to finish it. We popped into the showroom on a whim one day and were treated with such professionalism that we knew immediately we would give them our business. We worked with Jim and he did the installation as well. Their products are great quality. I would absolutely use them again!

I needed new blinds for my home as I decided to do some major renovations and wanted to make sure we make a “smart home” Hunter Douglas came up on my search for new and innovative blinds. And I could not have made a better choice! I chose for my front house windows, the Duolite. Which is 2 in 1 Shades. Silhouette shade with light filtering and then blackout room shades for the night. The perfect balance. And I have Duette for my Sky Lights. I walked into the main store on New Dorp Lane, already having done some internet research. As soon as I walked in, I received a warm welcome and treated whole heartedly as if I was already part of their family! Everyone was beyond helpful and excited to show the innovations of wireless control of the blinds, which is what attracted me to this company initially. I have been working with Jody Hall and Jim and they have been amazing! They came to my home and measured every window and sat down to discuss the various options that I had. And then they came to do my installation, it was quick and easy. They explained all the functionality and also help set up all the wifi controls. As a company, they have been apt to respond to any of my inquiries. They put you as a customer first. I am very happy with my shades and plan to continue to use they again for other areas of my house as my renovations continue. Deciding to use Hunter Douglas is the smartest decision you can make!

I called Gables New York after having a problem with my Hunter Douglas Vertical blinds broke. I called and Jodi was very helpful giving me An appointmentwhen needed. Her husband Jim who was very professional and very personable he came and took the blinds down and put up paper blinds until mine were returned. Jim returned and removed the paper and replaced mine in minutes.. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who needed their services. I felt like Jim was a friend. So important in these times. Thank you Jodi and Jim for a wonderful job and experience

I can begin by telling you guys how happy we are with our new window treatment. The house looks so elegant. Jody and Jim took their time helping us to pick the right window treatment for our house. Working with Jody and Jim from Gables was a truly, wonderful experience. Not only are they knowledgeable about their products and services, they are thoughtful, responsive, gave us an outstanding price, and demonstrate what true customer service should be! They really took their time to explain all of our options (all of which were beautiful and quality product) as well as walk through the timeline from picking the right product, the measuring, the ordering, and the timeline to install. The install was seamless and the silhouettes fit perfectly. Jim even programmed our PowerView and created Scenes for all of the blinds so we didn't have to attempt to do so on our own. All in all, I highly recommend Gables and will be using them again in the very near future. Thank you for everything!
