This is a great dental office. I have been going here for 8 years. It is very clean and everyone is nice, competent, and helpful. I don't have the best dental insurance. The staff always checks to make sure things will be covered and works around the insurance that I have, so I never have a surprise bill. (doing x ray less frequently, etc) They do what is needed very well and don't try to upsell you. I can't say enough good things. ??

Our whole family loves Friendly Smiles! Our kiddos age 3, 5, and 8, absolutely adore the treasure box after each appointment. The hygienists, dentists, and staff are incredibly helpful and kind; I always have great conversations. Who knew going to the dentist could feel as good as therapy?! I used to dread dental appointments, but this place has been pure gold for us!

Very thankful for friendly smiles. I have a long history of troublesome teeth and came from another practice that was shady and telling me I needed work that I didn’t... I was referred to Friendly Smiles by an old coworker in 2018 who’s husband had similar negative/ shady experience as me and I never regretted changing dentists. Dr. Lee & Friendly Smiles is exactly what a trustworthy, transparent, and caring dental office looks like. I’ll admit I was nervous when Dr. Lee took a step back and sold his practice to Dr. Booth but despite the shift Friendly Smiles and Dr. Booth continues to prove time after time that they really have your health and best interest at heart.

UPDATE: 7-14-22 I stand behind everything I wrote about this clinic a while back. (see below) and today I met Dr. Booth, DDS who is the new owner of Friendly Smiles. (Dr. Lee is still there but currently on family leave.) Today Dr. Booth diagnosed and began replacing one of my old crowns because of decay, but he actually made this normally unpleasant process FUN!! He is not only a good dentist (he gave thorough explanations to my questions), but he laughs easily and often and has a warm, collegial rapport with his assistant, Corinne, who is also a competent professional and fun, so I left feeling lighthearted and happy. Who would guess that a crumby crown replacement could go that well!! :-) Previous review: I have been going to this clinic for several years now. Both my husband and I decided to find a dental clinic that was walking distance from our home, so we researched a number of them in our area and even stopped in each one to interview them. Friendly smiles lives up to its name!! It was the only clinic we visited where Dr. Lee, the only dentist at that time, was sitting up at the front desk visiting with the receptionists when we walked in, so we got to meet him and chat with him. It was clear that this was the place for us. The clinic has grown since we started there, but it has retained it's informal, friendly feel while providing top--notch professional dental care. I have been seeing the same hygienist (Shanda) from the beginning. I am consistently impressed with her thorough cleanings and evaluations and I always enjoy sharing what's new in my life and hearing what's new with her family. It's quite amazing the way she is able to remember the details of my life whenever I see her. It's just an all around great place to visit, and the frosting on the cake is that it's more affordable than the place I had been going to.

I had been going to Friendly Smiles a few years ago when Dr. Lee owned the practice. I moved to Gresham in 2020 and tried to find a dentist close to home. However, I didn't love the dentist I tried out and wound up calling Friendly Smiles. Fortunately, the new ownership has not in any way affected the culture of Friendly Smiles. They're still friendly, attentive, and empathetic. They fixed me up and worked with both my dislike for needles and how difficult it is for me to get numb. Definitely worth the drive from Gresham for me.

Easily the best dentist office I’ve gone to in my 45 years on this planet. I needed a ton of work and they were amazing. Friendly, patient and super thorough with answering questions. The staff all seem so happy! Amazing vibe here. Highly recommend.
