Customer Reviews
Both my husband and I are (were) patients here. Fisher submitted claims for both our visits to our insurance. When they didn't get a response they submitted both a second time. The second one got denied because our insurance sent the checks to my address as opposed to straight to their office. When I called to make a payment and clear my account, the lady was ready to take my payment for double the amount. Basically 2 claims worth for the same visit. The amount felt off to me as I do not remember receiving checks from my insurance in that amount. After speaking with my insurance, I contacted Fisher office and they said they cannot see Explanation of Benefits from our insurance. How can they not see that they are trying to bill me for the same visits twice? I emailed the EOB to them and they said they would contact me back that same day as I was ready to pay the balance off. I never heard from them and I was a bit too busy to follow up. I had already spent a lot of time on calls as it was at that time. Weeks later I received a bill in the mail. I called the office this morning to make a payment and to ensure that my son's appointment was not affected by the outstanding balance. They said that it was not and he was still ok for it, but that my husband and I would not be able to take another appointment until it was paid. She said it was patient based. I made a partial payment. My husband takes my son to his appointment 20 minutes later and they tell him it was cancelled because of the remaining balance on his and my account. #1 The office lady I spoke to said that my son's appointment was fine. #2 I did not receive notice that it was cancelled through text, email or mail for whatever reason. Their customer service is horrible at this point. It didn't start that way when we first moved here . You were at least greeted back then. Now when I walk through that door, I feel like I should turn around and leave lest I insult the lady at the desk who is scowling at me. There is no hello, good bye, thank you, see you next time. At first you are like, "is it me?" but then you watch other patients coming in and you go "nope not just me!". I put up with it because I didn't want the hassle of finding another dentist, but after this fiasco my family won't be going back. My last interaction with them will be sending a check for the remainder balance on my account. I don't even feel comfortable speaking with them on the phone. I would not recommend going there unless you want to feel unwelcome.
Been going here for years. They wanted to do some extra intense cleaning. I told her I would only do that procedure if my insurance covered it. She told me she checked and we were good. I got a medical bill for $575 and the office told me it’s my responsibility to check my own insurance. I signed no estimate or permission to be billed for this. I clearly stated only what insurance covers. They did me dirty and I will never go back. The reception is very unfriendly. They do not even say good by when you walk out from your appointment. When I called to resolve this they basically told me too bad. Pay or we turn it into collections.
They made me a set of dentures for the top and one for the bottom. They charged me way over price and they were so thick I couldn't barely shut my mouth. I couldn't believe how much material there was. It work so I thought I just had to get use to it. Then I went to Aspen dental and they made me a set of lowers and I can't believe how awesome they are. I can't believe what a terrible job Fisher did and got away with it. Cleanings are fine, if you can get an appt around their personal schedules....
First 3 years were excellent, I brought my mother to them to for business. After Covid something happened, they resumed operations very COLD customer service. Hostile in fact. Receptionist could care less about if they retained clients. Just to get teeth cleaned takes 6 months to schedule. My advice in 2022/23 stay away from this family run business. Heck I even live in the same town as they function & have health dentistry insurance, such a shame.
They make you feel comfortable and trust me, I hate going to the dentist. I’m a huge fan of Dr.Chris but have worked with others and there all super helpful and knowledgeable. And a big thing for me is no judgement! They just wanna help.
