Dr. Paul Tran

Dr Tran and his entire team are exactly what a professional office should be. They’re generous, kind, courteous, knowledgeable. Dr Tran is the best Orthodontist, and came highly recommended by specialists in Louisville. He has provided care for several people in my family, coworkers, and friends. I can’t say enough good things about his practice.

Dr Tran came highly recommended, which is why my experience with him, a consultation, was so terribly disappointing. I hoped that my TMJ dysfunction could be improved by braces. I also wish to improve the appearance of my teeth with braces as I have a gap. He started by stating he is not a TMJ dysfunction specialist. Over at least 25 minutes, he vacillated between telling me that I shouldn’t want to keep treating my TMJ dysfunction with shots (the only thing preventing immense pain, I would add), saying no matter what I do I’ll never fix my TMJ dysfunction, saying many times he could get my teeth straight and that he’s an excellent Orthodontist, only to refuse to treat me at the end of the appointment. He informed me that TMJ is more common in women, and I am not embellishing this remotely, ‘because women are more uptight than men.’ He then proceeded to give the ridiculous example about how the engine light came on his wife’s car and she didn’t want to drive it until they got it checked out. And he informed her that light has been on for over a week and the car was fine. I was left at the end of the appointment wondering WTAF.
