Dr. Debbie L. Ashida, DDS

I'm loyal to all dentists I've had. However, Dr. Ashida's dentistry seems money driven. Appointments are overbooked, your time isn't considered. Dirty environment and your care is treated as if you're in an assembly line. I didn't recall her thoroughly washing hands between patients! My ex-girlfriend got dentures that fall's out her mouth! They do not complement her features! They look very generic! I believe, " If you do something do it right!" I wish her staff stop contacting me for a follow-up appointment, because I'm not returning! Worst dentists I've been to in over 40 years! She's unethical, unprofessional and money driven. Catering to people who doesn't know better!

Great dentist.... And that's hard for me to say. I have a huge phobia of dentists! It's the only dentist that's never had to send me home and reschedule my appointment... Due to not being able to do their job because I'm having a panic attack and/or can't stop shaking. For me, that says something about the dentist. Any time I have called to make an appointment for myself, or my daughter, whether it's just for a check up and cleaning... Or when there's been a more immediate need to see the dentist ASAP. They always schedule me with an appointment in the next day or 2. Especially if there's tooth pain or something bothering me or my daughter. Even when they are super busy, they have been awesome at calling to let me know if there's a cancellation and can get me in even sooner than scheduled! From the front desk staff, to assistants, to the dentist.... Every single person is friendly and helpful. They call or text they day before, to remind you about your appointment, and confirm if you'll be there. I always appreciate a reminder the day before. They even remember every year to text me on my birthday, and wish me a happy birthday and a great day! I don't know another dentist that does that!

Dr. Ashida seems to serve a more humble population and therefore—don’t expect some fancy office. What Dr. Ashida and her hygienists do well is get to the point and get the job done. As for the long wait, anywhere you go you’ll be waiting. After going to many different dentists I can honestly say Dr. Ashida and staff were very good. If I still lived in NM I would definitely keep her as my dentist.

They work done is the worst I have ever had done in my life. Super rough with the injections. And I've never not had 4 shots, they shoved it all in my tiny face with two huge shots. It didn't even numb my mouth, just the whole side of my face. She stabbed me in the gums and scratched the roof of my mouth, I felt a lot of it. The filling I got looks huge and ridiculous. And it's so sharp and gritty. What's the point of the intake? They squirted me in my sore tooth with freezing cold water! They don't have any bedside manner. Longest wait ever. The place looks like it has cockroaches.

Very long wait. And the lobby area is highly dirty very disgusting tbh. Chairs are all broken down and the carpet had many stains. People at the front desk are at least very nice. Doctors area is horrible it’s just one big open plan and no place for anyone else to sit no privacy at all. The assistants are rude told me there wasn’t any place for me to sit and I needed to wait in the waiting area. I understand businesses are hard but if you are going to have one keep it up to good looks and good treatment. Wouldn’t recommend anyone to come here.
