Dentistry for You Lenexa

Ever since Dr. Doolittle moved into this building the communication has really went down the drain. I use to get calls every 6 months to get scheduled for a cleaning. It was 7 months before I got the chance to call and schedule myself for a cleaning. When I was trying to look up the dentistry I realized the name had been changed. I was never notified about this change so that was a little frustrating. I would think common courtesy would be to send out a postcard to all current patients regarding this change. When I finally found it on Google, the hours of operations said they were closed on Mondays. My appointment was suppose to be on a Monday morning. I was super confused and had not received a reminder of any sort. I called Friday and nobody answered because per Google they are only open Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays. I work in the opposite direction of the dentistry, so I called Monday morning again. Finally the front desk lady Lori answered and told me they would have to charge me $80 service fee for not showing for the appointment. I figured after I explained my reasoning of how it was all so confusing on their part and I had not received a reminder at all, I was thinking they would understand. I was very wrong for thinking that, Lori laughed at me. I told her there was nothing funny about this conversation so I was again confused as to why she felt the need to laugh at me. She then said she’s sick and she was coughing. Yet she laughed again…. Lori (front desk) told me voicemails are checked all weekend and I should have left a voicemail Friday. But how would I know the voicemails were checked when Google states they are closed. I’m super disappointed in the lack of communication on their part. I’ve been going to this dentistry building for years… it’s very disappointing when another new dentist takes over and doesn’t care about the current patients. If Google states you are closed on certain days why would I chance driving across town (over an hour) to an appointment when I have not received one reminder of the appointment!! I’m very upset.

Dr. Doolittle is fantastic! Always caring, passionate, and kind when you’re in for a visit! I have nothing but good things to say about her and her office! Highly recommend!

I love my hygienist and my doctor! Always remember me and always do a great job with my cleaning and care. I had a veneer pop off the day before going on vacation and they worked me in to make sure I didn't go on vacation unhappy with my smile. I couldn't ask for a better team to trust with my dental needs. Thank you for your dedication to your patients! 10 out of 10 recommend ♥️

I brought my 4yo in for a check up and they were very kind and gentle with him. When he refused the cleaning, they did not push and asked how I wanted to proceed - they respected him and didn’t force anything. I had concerns about my prior cleanings (done by a different office) and they addressed every concern with a solution. The staff is incredibly friendly, patient, and knowledgeable about dentistry. Would recommend and will be going back!

Excellent, everything I looked for in a dentist. Super clean, friendly, professional, and went above and beyond. I can’t single one person out, everyone there was super nice and great to talk to. Very knowledgeable and explained my situation that was easy for me to understand.
