Dental Solutions of Roxborough

I have been going to dental solutions for about 5 years and I have had no issues with the regular cleanings. They do a great job and the office seems very organized with helpful administrative staff. I needed two fillings recently and I felt communication could have been better. I haven’t had a filling in about 15 years and I wasn’t sure what to expect. At one point, the dentist and technician left the room for about a half hour. They didn’t mention that they would be leaving or when they would be back so I wasn’t sure if I was done or if I should wait for them. They seem to have done a good job with the filling but a general overview and some quick comments about what is going on would have been appreciated.

Moved to the area last year and wanted to find a dentist nearby. Found Dental Solutions through my insurance company. Getting an appointment was easy and quick. Staff are very courteous and professional. However, right off the bat I was berated and treated like a child by the dentist. She told me I needed a $150 deep cleaning and I had three cavities that needed to be filled which would cost an additional $220 over my insurance coverage. I did not appreciate how I was treated and I was suspicious on top. I asked that my receipt be emailed. Didn't get it (not in spam), called and asked again, did not get it. I had to go in and get a physical copy. I went back to my previous dentist (whom I love but are not close by) and confirmed the deep cleaning is only needed with really bad cases, like if you went a couple of years between cleanings (I go every 6 months). Also, no cavities, no fillings needed.

I've been coming to Dental Solutions for years and have had a very good experience overall. The dental hygenist is very skilled and puts me at ease. The front desk staff is attentive and efficient and personable. I have had a couple of bridges made for me there and the dentists have done a very good job on them. I would recommend Dental Solutions to others.

I was pleased with the Tech that treated me. She was very gentle and friendly. Worked on my teeth, drilling and injections but with little pain. My only problem is that Dental Solutions will often change the quoted cost, without explanation.

Was hesitant at first ( only because i dont like going to the Dentist ) but the staff was friendly, the nurses were patient and kind and the Doctor was amazing . They were caring and didn’t rush anything, making sure I was comfortable and in no pain .
