I love Canyon Pointe Dental! I am never over sold here which is something I love! I have purchased a mouth guard which over the years has saved my teeth and jaw! Went in yesterday and thought for sure I would need a new one since it’s worn so badly but they fixed it up and said I could still get some use out of it. Really appreciate it!!

I really like these guys but they made a mistake that costs me thousands of dollars & a lot of pain.I came in September 2023 and they did a cleaning and filled a cavity. My tooth was very sensistive after & progressed to throbbing pain. I called them and asked if that would go away and they told me it’s fine & some people experience sensitivity differently. They told me to get some gum sensitivity tooth paste.The tooth pain didn’t go away but I left it because I thought I was just being a wimp. In July 2024 the pain became unbearable so I went back in to get it checked out. They did an XRay and told me it looks fine and got me out within 10 minutes. They again told me to get gum sensitivity tooth paste they also told me it was likely from a viral HFM infection I had earlier and not related.The pain didn’t progress and I just dealt with it. In early November 2024 the pain became extremely uncomfortable. I called them to come back in but they didn’t answer because they’re closed Fridays. I waited until Sunday and then it was so unbearable I called another dentists that was so amazing to let me come in on a Sunday.He did an X-Ray and said I had an extremely obvious abscess that was caused by this dentist who accidentally hit my nerve during the cavity filling and killed my tooth. He said it’s been dead for over 6 months and should have been easy to see back in July.I ended up having to go to the ER to get on stronger Antibiotics to fight the infection that had spread to my neck.The dentist did an emergency root canal and saved my tooth but there was a lot of additional damage done by the mistakes made by this office.I also am not very happy that I was gaslit about my pain and suffered pretty significant tooth pain for over a year.I don’t see why it would be intentional but either way the consequence for me was terrible.I’d recommend another dentist office that will take their time to make sure everything is okay.

Dr Christensen is 10/10, very professional and takes the time to explain everything and give you options. He doesn’t push unnecessary work! I appreciate that I can trust him and his staff! So happy to have them for our family dental needs!!!!!

I've been going here for years. They always do a great job cleaning. I've had other dental work with the Dr. Christensen. He's done an amazing job with my crown and veneers that I needed. I love this team!
