Burien Endodontics Reviews
I got in to see my regular dentist basically w/o an appointment and was referred immediately to Dr. Tomala, Burien Endodontics. I was immediately taken in by very friendly and competent staff, followed right away by the doctor’s assistant, who did a CAT scan and took xrays. The doctor then did a quick but thourgh exam, determining I needed a root canal, explaining what he was seeing and then what needed to be done, then started the numbing procedure immediately. (I realize that I was lucky there just happened to be an opening in his otherwise busy schedule.) The procedure was long and complicated but the doctor explained what he was doing and made sure I was as comfortable as was possible. There ended up being 5 roots that needed to be cleaned out (usually only 4 for that tooth) but he was able to complete the entire procedure and seal up the tooth in the one sitting. Anti biotic and paid medication were prescribed as well as explaining what I would experience and provided his contact information should I need it, which I haven’t. Root canals are not fun but this one was smooth and as pain free as possible. I would certainly not call this a painful, terrifying experience. Dr. Tomala seemed like a very nice, very competent man.

Nov 15, 2024 · John HolmI have bad anxiety about anything relating to the dentist as I have some childhood trauma with one. Unfortunately, I ended up with extreme tooth pain over the July 4th holiday weekend. My dentist was able to refer me to Burien Endodontics for an emergency appointment.Everyone was extremely friendly and kind. The dental assistant (Athena?) was one of the best I've ever had. While I was getting the local anesthesia shots for my root canal, she rubbed my shoulder and it was extremely helpful for keeping me calm while I settled into a calm state with nitrous oxide. I was able to get through the procedure with very little distress and I'm much happier to have it over and done.I highly recommend this practice to anyone who feels nervous with dental procedures. Their demeanor and professionalism was excellent and I got through just fine! Thanks team!
