I am deathly & extremely scared of going to the dentist. My sister found this office and suggested I give it a try. I have never been so comfortable at a dental office. Dr. Sakowitz & her team are absolutely top notch. I feel as if I’m in the best of hands when I visit. The calming presence the whole team has, has helped me tremendously & I am forever grateful that I took this chance. The comfort menu is wonderful, but it also helps when you have a team that you feel actually cares about you and I believe that is the difference with this team. Highly recommend!

I recently visited Dr. Sakowitz's office for a checkup and cleaning, but my experience did not meet my expectations. After some time off from regular flossing, I was looking forward to a standard cleaning to get my dental health back on track. However, I was informed that I could not receive a regular cleaning without first undergoing a special treatment focused on my gingivitis, which included a prescribed mouthwash and fluoride application. While I appreciate Dr. Sakowitz's commitment to addressing my dental issues, I felt that the approach was more focused on upselling additional services rather than providing the basic cleaning I had hoped for. I also wanted to take care of the cavities and fillings she has mentioned that needs attention. But I left the appointment with only a checkup, which was disappointing as I now have to schedule another visit at my regular dentist in Winter Park for the cleaning, cavities that were found along with the bad filling that needs to be revisited. I believe in taking care of my dental health and was open to recommendations, but I was left feeling pressured and overwhelmed by the suggestions for additional, costly treatments. I would prefer a dental office that provides more straightforward options based on my insurance coverage without the upselling. Overall, this experience did not align with my expectations of what a routine dental visit should be. I hope the office can improve its communication and approach with patients in the future.

First time coming to visit as a new patient, I highly recommend Aura Dental Spa! The staff were quick to get me scheduled in, and they are attentive! The experience is unique, they make sure that you are comfortable from the beginning until the end. The dental spa offers blankets, head phones and pillows while you’re being seen to make you feel at ease. Dr. Sakowitz was informative and her staff made my experience a great one. I’ll be coming back, and highly recommend anyone who is in the area to check them out!

When I was looking for a new dentist, I chose Aura Dental Spa based on the great reviews. I went to my first appointment with a fear of the dentist, but when I arrived I was greeted by a welcoming staff that made me comfortable throughout. Dr. Sakowitz made me feel calm and talked me through my options genuinely wanting me to be happy with my smile. Two years have passed and I am still happy with the improvements to my smile and no longer fear going to a dentist appointment. I am proud at how far my smile has come. Every appointment I am still greeted so nicely and offered a pillow from their comfort menu. I owe it to Dr. Sakowitz for guiding me through my teeth journey. I can’t thank her and her team enough for all of their help. I recommend Aura Dental Spa to everyone.
