Young Smiles

We have always had a great experience. The staff is so patient and helpful. Today my younger son was struggling with getting x-rays and the dental hygienist was so patient and encouraging with him. Both dentists are equally great, always looking out for the best interest of their patients. Dr. Kendra did what was best for our sons when extractions were recommended. The support staff are great as well!

Dr's Kendra and Rick are wonderful. Always patient and great with the kids. Would recommend them without hesitation. Terrific people. Love Young Smiles.

Dr Martin and her staff were phenomenal with my daughter! They were all so nice to us & treated my daughter with such great care that means so much. Small wait time & my daughter loved the activities in the waiting room!

Love this place! The staff is ALWAYS nice to my son and they have an understanding that these are babies/toddlers too and they’re scared and explain things to the child, which is my favorite, and to the parents as well! Kendra done my son’s surgery and explained the process to me and my expectations were met! They’re both awesome! Highly recommend!

Dr Kendra Martin was a wonderful Dentist to my ASD son. Unfortunately I can not say the same for her husband who shares the same office or the receptionist staff. Our first issue started when we saw Mr. Dr. Martin. My son had some cavities and needed to have an OR procedure. He talked down to me as a mother stating I was neglecting my child due to his teeth. I agreed. I wasn't aware that apple juice had high sugars. After research and speaking to other ASD mother's I learned that cavities in young ASD kids is common due to their particular diets. The second issue happened after my son was approved for his procedure we found out by an e-mail that even though they're a provider for my dental insurance they decided to deny any OR services through them since they were not receiving payments from them. The insurance company has changed Dental programs in July. His original OR visit was scheduled for September but had to be delayed due to health concerns. It was rescheduled for November. The information about their office denying our Dental company wasn't relayed verbally and was not e-mailed till late September.  After speaking to the office manager Melissa she said I needed to change my medical provider in order for them to approve the procedure through their office. As a back up I called another pediatric dentist so I could have a back up option if for some reason the president of my dental insurance company wasn't able to get things changed fast enough. I was informed by Dr Martin's office the moment I signed the release form for them to send my son's medical records they would cancel his procedure and I would no longer be able to use their services. It's extremely upsetting. This situation could've been handled earlier and better if they relayed the information in July or even when the procedure was reScheduled. I gave them a 2 star rating because in the beginning they actually cared about their patients and did whatever they could . The reception staff and Mr. Dr. Martin are the only true negatives of the business. I hope eventually they will understand how they treat their patients matter and things change for them but we will no longer go there even if they improve again. This situation has burned me on using their office.

The Drs. are knowledgeable, efficient, and kind. For years now, from check-in to check-out, our experience has consistently been smooth and wonderful. My daughter looks forward to her dental appointments and says “5 stars”! We are so grateful for this practice, Drs. Rick & Kendra Martin and staff!

I am thankful for this practice! They were able to schedule my college student to get a tooth fixed and follow-up appointments for winter break. It seems harder and harder to find such great customer service these days, but not with Martin Young Smiles. Planning to switch the whole family over to this practice.

The Martins and the team were amazing! The clinic was clean and modern, and they made me feel comfortable throughout my visit. Highly recommend for anyone needing dental care!
