Wineman Dental, the office of Joseph A. Wineman, DMD

I've been going to Dr. Wineman for over 20 years. Have never had a bad experience. I have Insurance through my employer and most of my work has been covered. Great staff. Great work. Great facility.

Getting in for a full cleaning. Paid a large copay. Then after talking to insurance company and hearing it to be possable faulty, I was phoned by the staff telling me I paid too much then on the next visit for the final cleaning I dont have to do a copay. After the second cleaning they tried to make me pay until they remembered that I was not to pay cause they already over charged me. After that I never heard form them again for visit or a check up. I thought it was because of the overcharged and then trying to charge me again. They were done with me and got there money. 2 YEARS Later I get an email about paying 90 dollars more for the second time I came and that there catching up now on there books now and I still owe 90. After arguing with the lady on the phone back and fourth about what was said and happened and calculated 2 years ago. I finally just said screw it and send me the bill. I guess they need money bad 2 years later after the job was done and was paid fully. Other people at my work that went there also told me about them also being sent invocies from 2 years ago about money they owe aftwr they paid also. Leading to this review about them. Becareful with your billing at this place.

This actually is a sad review for me to write as I had originally left 5 stars for Dr Wineman but after my last experience I feel it's important that potential new patients be aware of their billing practices. First off read all of the fine print on the contract you sign prior to getting work done. I thought I was fortunate to have dental insurance and in February I had a deep cleaning done. I asked the front office staff not once but 3 times if I was going to have any out of pocket expense. Oh no you are covered 100%. Well turns out my insurance rejected their claim and wouldn't pay for the right side of my mouth to be cleaned. Mind you this procedure took all of an hour total. Wineman' staff contested the decision but they said no. I got a bill for $456.00 including interest charges of $3.49 for making them wait. I then get to pay 3.95% interest to use my card to pay them. Why did I pay them? Because the nice old women on the front desk are not very nice. I paid or I went straight to collections. No passing go, no negotiations. BTW I just spent 2 weeks in the hospital with a pulmonary embolism which can be triggered by dental work. So I'm struggling a bit physically and financially at the moment and explained that to them. Nope.. pay or collections that is it brother. It's too bad I wanted to support a fellow member of my Jewish faith but not any more after the horrible treatment I received. They made it very clear in their last email to me that said 'we are not in the business of providing free services'. I didn't ask for anything free. I wanted decent customer service. Do yourself a favor and go to a dentist that has competent front office staff.

Dr. Wineman is very nice, he was fast an informative, kind and professional. His Staff is also really awesome. Phyllis his assistant is funny, helpful and very caring. The entire staff was great, including the Hygienist that cleaned my teeth and Front Desk team helped me understand what my insurance would and would not cover. I have already told several people how great this Dentist is. I also love that they open at 7, I've been able to get in and out before my work day even begins! HIGHLY recommend.

This Dental clinic is absolutely amazing. The atmosphere is very clean, inviting and pleasant. I received an exceptional customer experience. The best part of it all, is the it was not one person in particular. The office as a whole from the front desk to the back. Every member of staff were caring, understanding and kind. Dr. O’keefe is absolutely amazing. She is an excellent dentist with a beautiful soul. I will never forget the kindness shown to me. Not to mention the cutting edge technology used for facial scanning and X-ray. If you are looking for a friendly, caring and knowledgeable dental office look no further this is your place! I’m so grateful for the exceptional experience, as well as the inviting atmosphere. These dentist Dr. Wineman & Dr. O’Keefe are so thorough that he will be removing a small piece of glue that was left on my teeth from braces I wore in my teens, which by the way I have seen quite a few dentist in between that time. That is the attention to detail I am speaking of an absolute outstanding eye for detail. This place definitely gets a 5⭐️! KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!
