I recently visited Wilmington Periodontist based on bogus information from All Smiles Dental in Dover, which stated that I had severe bone loss. I was later informed by another dentist that I DO NOT have significant bone loss to warrant a deep cleaning. Nonetheless Wilmington Periodontist performed a deep cleaning that cost me $540 out of pocket. The experience was horrible. When the right side was cleaned, the hygienist repeatedly banged the instruments against my teeth and literally yanked my head to turn it in the direction she needed. I even paused the cleaning to ask if there was a problem. On my second visit, I requested another hygienist, which also did not turn out well as she pulled one of my fillings out, which caused me to need emergency dental service. After making an appointment with a dentist to repair the filling, I asked Wilmington Periodontist if they would be willing to reimburse me the $85 that I had to pay after insurance. The response was an astounding NO. So, to sum it up, I paid $625 out of pocket that was totally unnecessary. I am a single senior living off of Social Security benefits and a pension. What a horrible way to treat patients entrusting their dental health to you! Shame on you!!!

I had a great experience with Dr.Sanz! I was a little bit worried because I have had poor experiences in the past that have led to high dental anxiety and the entire staff was so amazing and understanding, I have never felt more comfortable at a dental office. I had two teeth pulled and two implants put in and I couldn’t have had a better experience. I will with no doubt return here if I need any work done in the future.

I went to Dr Sanz for an implant and was very pleased with the service that he and his office provided. They do a great job of breaking things down and explaining the steps involved. Friendly staff as well.
