I rarely write negative reviews, but if this helps just one person avoid this place, it’ll be worth it! The staff is friendly and makes you feel comfortable, but beware—they may exaggerate the amount of work you need. Also, be prepared to spend several hours there if they’re busy. When I arrived, I checked in and completed the new patient paperwork. I was called back within 15 minutes for X-rays, but it took the assistant an entire hour to complete them. I kept gagging, and my eyes were watering from how far back the X-ray plates were placed. I’ve had X-rays done many times before and never experienced anything like that. After the X-rays, I was taken to a chair to wait for the dentist’s exam. That wait took an additional hour. During the exam, the dentist told me I needed a significant amount of work done. While I don’t mind addressing dental issues, something felt off, and I decided to seek a second opinion. Before leaving, they kept pushing me to buy a mouthguard and tried to get me to sign a contract that day for all the out-of-pocket expenses they claimed I needed to pay. Three hours later, I left feeling exhausted and disheartened. I eventually went to another dentist for a second opinion, and they were far more thorough. It turns out, I didn’t need even half of the work Western Dental said I did! It’s really concerning that some offices, especially those that accept primarily medical patients, seem to inflate treatment needs just to meet quotas. It’s disheartening and unethical to see them take advantage of people like this. Do yourself a favor—if something feels off, get a second opinion! (Attached photo is of the waiting area.)
Oct 22, 2024 · Monica WrightI brought my 85-year-old grandmother in for a quick denture impression appointment, but the visit ended up taking over an hour and a half due to staffing shortages. The impression itself took less than 5 minutes. My grandmother had not eaten and was becoming increasingly uncomfortable, so I inquired if there was any possibility of seeing her sooner. We were given the option to either wait an additional 15 minutes or reschedule. Given that we had driven nearly an hour to get to the appointment, it was disappointing to experience such delays, especially considering that rescheduling would have been more efficient from the start.
Nov 27, 2024 · Shelly SachdevaI appreciate both sides ortho and general of this Western dental. I've been here for five years. They always treated me with respect and dignity. I want to thank the doctors and the assistant's that been here with me during my treatment. The patient coordinator Yesenia is the right choice in her position in the field, positive energy, knowledgeable, and caring. I give a five-star rating because of her attention and attitude coming to work.
Sep 25, 2024 · Javier AlcazarI’m not at all happy with this dentistry. We waited for over an hour just to get a check up and a tooth cleaning. When asked when we’d be seen, the reception left to supposedly check, and never came back. Instead that staff were in the hall way by the offices just talking among themselves.
Nov 15, 2024 · Teresa RodriguezWestern dental is always so damned anxious to pull my teeth. So it's taking me 4 visits in 9 months to finally get them to realize I'm in there for 1 thing. To get an impression for a partial. No your not pulling any of my teeth. No your not doing a deep cleaning no I don't want that back tooth extracted. So finally today they did that one procedure that I went in for, 9 months ago .thankx for finally doing what Asked. Staff ws exceptionally pleasant.
