We had an amazing hygienist who was VERY good with our children (one of which is highly anxious with dental visits). Kim P. Took her time with them and explained everything where my kids could understand, we NEVER felt rushed and she was very compassionate towards my children. We had Dr. Brownfield who was great as well, had great bedside manner and explained everything and was very patient. This was a great visit and you can tell they love what they do and working with kids.

I took my girls here for the first time and it’s really catered to children! My girls loved the decorations of the animals and the clear wall with water/ bubbles/ changing colored lights. The staff is super friendly and explained the girls treatment plans after their visit. Everything in the office was really clean. Which is awesome.

Had a terrible scheduling expereince with the woman on phone...decided to not proceed further...I dont like people trying to act oversmart on phone..No compassion, No attention, non welcoming vibes...There should be a diff between ordering a sandwitch vs a healthcare office

All 4 of my children have been patients at WVPD since they were old enough to visit a dentist. They truly have the best care and the staff is amazing. They also provide any accommodations we may need for one of my daughters that has special needs.

This place is cute, lots of characters strewn about the building that encourage little kids to brush their teeth by doing it themselves. There’s also a mesmerizing bubble wall at the front entrance. Most of the staff are nice. Though, I will say that Dr.Juhn at the Peoria location is quite rude. I struggle with depression, which I made known to the nurse that was working with me, and she then made known to the doctor. My teeth aren’t bleach white perfect, but they’re also not the worst teeth they could possibly be. At the time I was struggling with flossing (or even brushing at all, really) and I told them I would get on it. When the doctor heard this, he made a few snide remarks and started going on a long rampage about my teeth and how depression isn’t an excuse to not floss and blah blah blah. It got to the point where the nurse had to step in and tell him to stop because she had already had a conversation about flossing with me and, again, that I’ve been struggling but that I would step it up. 7 months later, one cancelled appointment because I didn’t want to run into Dr.Juhn again and what would you know? My teeth are perfectly fine now, no thanks to him. The rest of the staff have been very polite, and I have no problems with people addressing dental problems and needing to floss/brush, but the way he went about it was rude and unprofessional.
