West Newton Dental Associates

I have been going to West Newton Dental for the past 19 years and have always received top notch dental care from them. I love my dental hygienist Rose and Dr. Lee is wonderful. Dr. Epstein has also provided me with excellent care for my gums. Their care is very thorough, thoughtful, and friendly. I highly recommend West Newton Dental.

The dental hygienist was competent and professional and helpful, but the dentist was rude and condescending when I asked for information about what local anesthesia to avoid due to my recent bad experience with local anesthesia for a crown procedure. He was defensive and talked down to me. It was clear that the previous reaction was largely due to this doctor giving me three doses of local anesthesia instead of the typical one, because it took me a while to get numb. Having 3 doses made me very sick later in the day for several hours.

Dr. Lee is amazing. He is explains each step. Before becoming a patient of Dr. Lee’s, I was a nervous wreck! The staff is so helpful at WNDA. Jackie is my dental hygienist and is extremely caring and professional. I am so grateful for the care I receive at WNDA.

Fabulous, inclusive, positive, and upbeat professional vibes all around. Dr. Matt Epstein is just so fun and he has the most current dental practice I’ve ever visited. I’m very pleased with our new local dentist who is helping me keep these “Dutch teeth” together. I highly recommend as I was referred to him as well. Best referral! The front desk is super kind and culturally aware, I always feel respected.

My hygienist Leandra was the absolute best! She did an excellent job while being gentle and very personable. Doctor Lee was great as well--very thorough and provided helpful information in a friendly and easily understandable manner. The front desk staff were very welcoming when I arrived and incredibly friendly when I checked out.

Dr. Lee is amazing, but the front desk staff needs improvement. I requested them to transfer my X-rays to a new dentist due to insurance coverage (I called twice), but they were slow to act. As a result, I may need to undergo unnecessary and redundant X-rays.
