Amazing Deep Cleaning yesterday. This is my 2nd or 3rd time having my cleaning done at this office and is has always been the same person. She is extremely professional and very good at her profession. She was very particular about thorough cleanliness in her work on the teeth and with her tools. She took the time to explain proper oral hygiene and further explained the problem areas and how to clean them more thoroughly between professional cleanings. Definitely sticking with this office so long as she is there.
Genuinely the best experience I had a at a dentist office and I was in level 9 pain with toothache. The whole process was so fast, the receptionists, irse and dentist all genuinely cared and wanted to ease my pain as fast and well and they could. Never thought I’d say I really enjoyed this dentist visit. Thank you all so so much. - Manuela
Had an amazing experience and would highly recommend this practice. Dr. Mastour was extremely patient and thorough. He was gentle and kind to my very nervous daughter. His skill was impeccable and he explained every step of the process. The office was clean. Parking was very easy. The staff was friendly and welcoming and even made sure my daughter was comfortable and at ease as she sat in the chair. I would highly recommend this office and am so glad we found it.
The most HORRIBLE and unprofessional experience. Please take your business to another dental office. I was a new patient here and initially thought this would be a good dental office. I was sadly mistaken. For starters, upon being seen by Dr. Arash (March 7, 2024), he did not have the common decency and professionalism to introduce himself to me or even pronounce my name once. He just started looking inside my mouth and told me what I needed and disappeared. It was the most impersonal, unprofessional, and uncomfortable experience. I got my teeth cleaned at the appointment as well. The next day I noticed the cleaning was not done throughly. I called the office to inform them so I can have my teeth cleaned again. I was told the office manager would call me on Monday (March 11, 2024). No one called on Monday. I waited until Wednesday and had to contact the office myself. I finally spoke to the office manager, Elena. Who had no idea why I was calling because the front desk never informed her that I called. I had to reexplain myself once again. And several times while talking to Elena because she was gaslighting me claiming she didn’t understand why I was calling. Elena then informed me that Dr. Fard would call me the next day. Dr. Fard never called me. It is now March 19, 2024, I called the office today at 3:08PM. I spoke to Elena and informed her Dr. Fard has not contacted me. She then “chucked” and said “I don’t know, I left a note on his desk. I don’t know.” I then told her this is completely unprofessional, how long I have had to wait and the treatment I have received in the process. She told me to call my dental insurance and that she couldn’t help me, then immediately hung up the phone. This has been the worst dental experience of my life. No one should have to endure this type of treatment by professionals; especially as a new patient. I was gaslit, laughed at, and treated utterly unprofessionally. The doctors including staff do not truly care about their patients or dental needs they only want to collect money. As stated in the beginning, please take your business elsewhere.
I’ve been coming here for a long time, about 5/6 years, however, you really need to be an advocate for yourself in any medical setting and always check in with your insurance before any thing that is suggested to you to make sure you are covered or if the setting is complying with the rules. If you personally feel like you don’t need something done or need another opinion, definitely go with that intuition. West LA Dental Health Center is great and they’ll take care of you, but you have to always be one step ahead anywhere, and that’s just the bottom line of any medical practice. I refer family to them but hopefully they take care of them as they have me.
I can’t even lie I’m very picky about places that i go to and this is by far my favorite dental office. Staff was friendly, the office was well prepped and clean which i LOVE , they’re also quick and very detailed and straightforward. I had a cracked tooth that was literally the worst pain ever and i was struggling finding a in-house (surgeon within the same office) oral surgeon because I couldn’t stand zigzagging to multiple places. Very glad I found this office 😭🫶🏾 will be doing all of my work here.
