During my span of visits I feel the dentist whom served me rushed my concerning questions and treatment plan. They miss handled and damaged my partials. I was treated poorly and rushed off. Some of the women that worked there are awesome. However the two dentist that worked with me were extremely rude. When I would have questions, I was given a rushed answer, followed by what seemed to be agitation. Dr. Trent P. Shaw said I had an attitude because I requested he honor the warranty on the partials for which I honestly believe his staff damaged. I feel it was intentional. This was why they had to replace the lower partial. One of the young ladies said they don’t like to do that because they have to eat the cost for remaking partials. The last thing I wanted to do was upset them. I voiced my concern to the front desk, and they assured me the problem would be addressed. They ruined my partials and blamed it on me. The treatment plan they set up was organized in a way to fit their needs not mine. The crown Dr. Shaw put in fell out within a month also causing issues with partial fitting ,the filling service they performed feels botched as well it feels like they didn’t file away the cavity it feels cracked where the cavity was and I’m having pains underneath. Also the crown he had to reinsert was done without numbing meds I asked if they were supposed to numb me Dr Shaw replied it’s a preference and yes you guys it hurt my gums when he put it back in. I fear it’s gonna fall out again. Anytime I went there, Id sit there for hours for some of my appointments. Anytime I had a question I was rushed the dentist even told me I should be grateful that he excepted my type of insurance and that maybe they shouldn’t accept you peoples type of insurance. He said he didn’t care about what I had to say any of my concerns, and that I was just wasting their time and made it seem as if I was being argumentative, but the whole time it was him Dr Trent P. Shaw. They ended up confiscating my partials and told me that they would get my partials remade and deliver them to me. He said I needed find somewhere else to go. They don’t want me to come back to their dentist office and that’s fine. You should be able to talk to your dentist about problems or concerns without feeling that you’re an annoyance to them. You should never tell a patient you don’t care about them, or they are a waste of your time , or you shouldn’t accept their insurance. I’m not sure what you peoples insurance meant when Dr. Shaw used this statement but it hurt I’m hoping it’s not a race issue.
My partner has received the worst dental care I’ve ever witnessed. He had two extractions and followed the care packet exactly. He left without receiving any antibiotics or pain medication even though he was told he has an abbess. He has been in excruciating pain, unable to sleep and work for days. When I inquired about why he did not receive antibiotics I was told that the doctor did not feel he needed it. Now today we are both back here and he finally gets a prescription for an antibiotic. After inquiring about next steps if he is still in pain we were accused of requesting narcotics which were never mentioned. Simply inquired about any home remedies or any additional steps we could take at home to help him get back to work. This doctor completely dismissed us and said that she wasn’t going to “lose her license” for our “convenience.” We will never come here again. DO NOT COME HERE.
Just finished my appointment and I have to say this is without a doubt the best dentist I have ever had the pleasure of seeing. He’s such a kind soul and makes you feel right at home and his staff is just the absolute best. Seriously wish I could give 10* because they are truly that awesome!! The “dental assistant” was phenomenal. I put that in quotes because she is better than a dental assistant. I honestly thought she was also a dentist. Just a great Dentist and staff. Will be seeing Dr Bertrand for years to come!
SCAM)*Worst dental experience*sended two people for a tooth removal they give no pain medicine mind you they rushing to get them out from the pain is causing and they made it feel like they was racist for taking the tooth out from one them because he was Mexican (same day got an infection)next day sended a black race men and made him go back and forth 3 times making dumb excuses why they couldn’t take it out last time they took all his insurance n ended up charging his insurance for something he didn’t got ..while this office staff laughing and joking
