I haven’t seen a dentist in a while. And it’s because every other dentist was just not Pleasant. But that change when I came here. From the time I got there to the time I left I was very happy and they took very good care of my needs. The lady who runs the clinic was amazing. Now I look forward to going to the dentist. Thank you UNLV for the woman’s clinic.?

Mood - Confidence When we are children, we don't know there are ever any issues with us physically until someone points out our flaws. Usually the person doing this is a bully of sorts. You can even be lucky enough to have those bullies as your own family members. My son would come to me and always ask if there something wrong with him. And me knowing the world is an evil place, I would look my son right in the eyes and lie. I would tell him he is very handsome and there is nothing wrong with him. I would tell him give himself time to see how he will mature.. Now yes can you look at the before and after pictures and notice there are issues. 100%. However my son was born premature at 32 weeks. So we had to wait until his jaw bone caught up with his body before we could start any formal orthodontics. So everyday I would tell my son he is handsome and a good person before I would send him off to school. Finally as the day approached of finding a good orthodontic program, we were asked all the questions. To determine if now was the time. As premature males grow very fast and sometimes the rest of the body has to play catch up ie teeth and jaw bones. He didn't have a growth spurt in over 13 weeks and he was steadily wearing a size 12 men's shoe without growth. So it was time. Upon entering initially, was quickly greeted and a full consult was done. We were highly lucky to have Dr. Hou as my son's case was very complex. Dr. Hou regularly consulted with the higher ups bringing them in on my sons case to get the best outcome possible. This clinic unlike traditional clinics is full of brand new state of the art technology. So you will be seen monthly, you will be required to get your teeth cleaned and the process of using another clinic for that. But you have access to the newest orthodontic dental treatments available to streamline processes. I don't think this would have been as smooth if my son didn't respect Dr. Hou. As he had to listen to the dental chore lists that were given such as rubber bands/ gum health/ limiting certain foods. ( and I'm a foodie, so it was a lot of no no foods) My son had several procedures and surgeries done to his mouth as well to achieve this outcome along with the extensive braces/ power trains/ and permanent rubber bands that were installed. I would most def recommend- pricing in my opinion for what and how my son feels is worth it. I told Dr. Hou in front of my son " thank you for the work you've done now I don't have to lie to him anymore". My son looked at me, hugged me, laughed and said "thank you for giving me confidence when everyone else was stripping it from me". As parents it is our job to fill our children's cup full of love/confidence/respect/humility- and sometimes we need outside sources to help with that. I'm grateful to the team and staff at this clinic. The customer service was always hospitable and courteous, especially with the coordination of appointments and my schedule. Location is Charleston/ Rancho - ample parking

I am grateful I found this place, I had been suffering for almost 2 weeks of a wisdom tooth pain. The tooth root was very long and curved therefore they had to basically do surgery on it to be able to extract it. I don't have insurance and every place I called they charge an arm and a leg if you don't have insurance. I researched the internet and found this dentist school at the Univerity of Nevada Las Vegas, the work is done by students that are about to graduate and supervised by the doctor. Walk-ins are welcome but you have to get there at 7am to be one of the first as it's first come first serve and if you are not there at that time there is no guarantee they will take you. I had my surgery done by students and the doctor who was supervising them all the time, they did the exrays, examination, anesthesia and the surgical procedure and the best of all they only charged me $149.00 USD The students were very kind, respectful, check on me all the time throughout the procedure to make sure I was OK. If you don't have insurance and you need dental work done I recommend this place 100%.

FRONT DESK STEALS CASH PAYMENTS & BUSINESS OFFICE SUPPORTS THIS BEHAVIOR My daughter is a current patient of this clinic since 08/2023. At our initial visit Ana the receptionist provided a copy of our contract and verbally stated “patient will not be seen without payment and, must be accompanied by an adult”. The payment of our December 13th appt was made in cash to Ana by the patient’s father; in front of the patient our 16 yr old daughter. The front desk and business office did not allocate the payment to our account. When I received a statement the first one since we pay every time; surprised I called immediately. Spoke with Ana and was told supervisor would call me back. After speaking to billing dept and, front desk supervisor. Resolution: I need to Repay Decembers visit due to dad not saving receipt. Unlv ortho clinic - cash payments are not tips!!!! The supervisor states that without a receipt the missing money is my responsibility. On my visit today, I notice the inconsistency with the receipts demanded. As I paid with a credit card; instead of being given a letterhead (like in the initial and my previous visits); the supervisor offered me a credit card machine printout. I’m extremely upset about this because the clinic is inconsistent with the receipts and check in processes. The waiting room needs cameras. It’s insulting that they are not in place for these issues considering the inconsistency of the receipts handed to patients. Unfortunate that the saving of coming to the school goes to the front desk and/or in making double payments.

Well, first I’d like to say the students that actually do the work are awesome! As far as the two ladies that work in ortho at the front desk, I can’t say too much nice things about them. They seem to always get on their defensive when you ask questions about your payments. Today being March 18, 2024 I have been going since 2022 for some reason today I have had to pay $250 payment which makes no sense Because I just made a $250 payment not too long ago. My payments are usually 125 and it almost seems like they try to make stuff up When I have been on time with my payments every time except probably twice, I was short. My advice to anybody that goes to this place make sure you keep your paperwork your receipts because I almost that these two ladies are up to something at this facility. I’m not 100% sure but it’s either I’m getting charged more and they’re not putting into the system Or they are skimming money and not notating it as payments paid. Because it almost makes me think like if I’m talking to one lady and then you have the one lady that’s next to her that gets on the defensive I'm questioning my payments that kind of raises red flags. Why would you get defensive? Not to mention how did I miss payments or missed whatever in 2022 and then you change it from 2022 to 2023. I don’t know these two like to make excuses they get on the defensive when you question and anybody and everybody has a right to question what they’re being charged for their services. All I got to say is for people who go here be careful Make sure you get your receipts It’s sad that you can’t trust anybody anywhere at any time Not even businesses like this. Just use caution I will give an update because I feel like I am being over charged.
