I'm a dental student. I went to this office with my parents because they needed help talking to the office because they were trying to rip them off. My dad's permanent crown which she cemented 2 months ago fell out because the margins of the prep were ridiculously crooked. He called to make an appointment the day before he went in as an emergency because his crown fell. He has kidney stones and had pain the next morning so he was taken to the hospital (which we have all the documentation for) so he missed his appointment. After thousands of dollars of treatments at this office, they sent a bill to our house for no show fee. I tried to provide his hospital documentation showing that he couldn't make it because he was literally hospitalized and the front desk gave me attitude and began gradually raising her voice at me. I was told that the Drs hand was shaking during the appointment which my dad let me know afterwards (I was not there). And the cleaning they did for him looked like they didn't even touch his teeth and was done by the assistant (which is illegal in the state of California)- just to be clear, both piezo and polishing were done by the dental assistant. Please save yourself the hassle, dental treatment is extremely pricey and the least anyone deserves is basic human decency and a provider who knows what they're doing . Be wary of the so called "upgrade fee" they try to add when you do a crown and make sure you personally call your insurance and talk to them before proceeding with any treatment plans:)

Ms. Turchi is very nice and hospitable and did a great job on my teeth. Really great!

If i could put zero stars I would. The dentist is very rude and speaks down on you. She definitely needs to work on her communication skills to patients or anyone else for that matter.

This inexperienced dentist sawed off my partially decayed tooth completely, then had to shave down 5 other teeth to work with her new crown, causing my jaw to misalign & bite my own cheeks while eating. It caused incredible gum infections putting me on antibiotics for 8 months. Her billing is totally illegal as she pads it, then comes after you legally if you refuse to pay her her ridiculous bill.

Dr. Turchi's charging practice is questionable. Beware she does pad her charges. She stays within the insurance coverage, BUT adds charges. ie: additional $50 charge for "office", with a code of 09999. Explanation is "exam"! This is your out of pocket expense! There's already a charge for comprehensive oral exam, code 00150. Beware! I made the mistake of paying for the services before scrutinizing the charges.
