Town Center Dental & Orthodontics

I’m very happy that they could take me in the same day I called. I had a loose tooth. The office staff was very helpful and friendly. My doctor was very friendly and professional. He extracted my tooth in a painless procedure. It’s been 2 days now and still no pain or discomfort. They are the best dentist I have been to.

Dr. Nishihara is experienced and knowledgeable, in addition to him being kind.— a good man. He is supported by a great staff.

I was finally able to see a dentist after 20 years of not having dental insurance. I scheduled for a cleaning and exam and I was able to do this over email. I enjoyed the booking process but that is where the joy ends. Once in the office I was not received with the same friendly staff that was answering my emails. The staff was standoffish and did not make eye contact and did not smile. It was a short wait to see the dental hygienist who took my images and did the cleaning. I thought it had a barage of cavities but only had one. A large one in a rear molar. Was told to pull tooth or get a root canal and was given a referral to endodontist. I was quite upset when I had to go to another specialist to get a root canal. Anyway went to the specialist and she told me that I would have to go back to the original dentist to then get a filling and a crown. Original dentist never told me I would have to go back to get more work done. It took me two months to save to get to the endodontist so I was pretty crushed and torn about the treatment when specialist notified me I was going to have to spend more money. I put root canal on hold went back to the dentist to get a price on filling and crown with a pre authorization from my insurance. A week later did not get a response followed up with a nice email and then asked about getting tooth pulled. The response was an immediate referral to an oral surgeon. Lmao. The investers endodontist specialist stated that any dentist could pull the tooth... Then all of a sudden the original dentist wants to refer me to an oral surgeon because they won't be making money off of me if I pull my tooth. #1 if you referring me to a endodontist for a root canal the least you could do was explain the entire treatment plan and that I would need to return to your office for more treatment and would need to be prepared to spend more $$$. Again first time I have been to the dentist in 20 years and I have no idea what a root canal is I have never had one before so you cannot just assume I would know I needed to come back. #2 a referral to the oral surgeon was basically you saying I don't want to deal with you. You don't want to waste your time pulling out a tooth that I cannot afford to fix. Not everyone has hundreds of dollars to spend on do fixing a tooth that doesn't even hurt to be honest so it's staying in my mouth for now until I can find another dentist who will work within MY means not an oral surgeon. An oral surgeon would be pissed for me wasting their time as they should be.

Me and my boys go to Town Center Dental more than 2 years. We absolutely love it. Everyone there (Dentist, Hygienist and receptionist) is so friendly and doing great job every time we visited there. Highly recommended if you live in Mililani Area.

Very good dental services. Staff always friendly and Dr. Nishimura very good dentist. Only downside is limited capacity of Hygenist services.Need to schedule months out and if you need to change appointment it's difficult without a 6 month wait.
