Place has really bad odor. Total scam. Paid over $5000 out of pocket and still didn’t fix problem. Messed up fitting for her mouth guard then tried again and the second mouth guard was still too big but said it was fine…it wasn't, it constantly fell off. Dr told me at three different visits she was going to consult with another doctor to consult on my daughter’s TMJ but never did. Each time acted like this was our first conversation. They want you in and out and your money. Go somewhere else!

My husband got his orthodontic treatment done, as an adult, with Dr. Ed close to 10 years ago. He was very thorough in his explanation for treatment and answered all our questions. My husbands treatment was life changing. We moved out of state for several years and when we returned we wondered if Dr. Ed was still practicing, and he was! I was happy to find out the St. Charles Family Dentistry now had a dedicated building for TMJ and Sleep Theraphy and that my kids can get a professional and top of the line service once more.

Excellent attention to your needs. Dr Lipskis adds a sense of humor and humility in describing treatment. Everything is up front and easy to understand.

This place has bad car sales man energy. You basically pay them to do their ‘job’ with no guarantee and they use people in pain to leverage a sale. So they just want you to buy something and gas light you to keep taking you money. Save your money, and seek alternatives for your treatment. They use the stalling technique that sales do. My first appointment was them collecting information for over two hours and half to then tell me to pay them to treat me with little guarantee as “each patient is sensitive” The approach is treatment is phases but they refuse to tell you what the phases are. Person said most people go to phase 2, but you have to do phase 1. They don’t tell you what phase 2 is. They don’t tell you what you are paying for, “ if we tell you then you will go seek treatment for yourself” So I imagine it’s jaw exercises, acupuncture, laser therapy or other holistic treatments. They even pressure you to pay. They gave me a bill and told me to call now my spouse, immediately. Because the one spot they had would fill up. Then suddenly when I said I would work on getting the down payment they could find an appointment for me that was not, the “only slot they had open” I know I have Tmj and the tests they ran are evidence that I have a problem but I don’t believe I need to pay 8K out of pocket to treat it because the ‘expert’ can help me be “pain” free.
