After over a decade of chronic pain and several ineffective procedures and surgeries, I sought treatment with Dr. Paul Insolera and his team. Their holistic approach to treating TMJ involving postural therapy addresses the roots of the condition, and lays the framework for a pain-free future post treatment. Dr. Insolera and his team were extremely thorough, empathetic, and encouraging throughout my treatment period. My entire outlook on life has shifted, and I participate more actively in my life without pain. I cannot thank the TMJ and Sleep Center enough, and would recommend them to anyone enduring cranio-facial pain!

Do not come here. They will ruin your teeth. I have no enamel on my teeth due to these treatments. Do not come here. *To clarify, the appliances they have you wear will ruin your tooth enamel.

Dr. Insolera is an absolute lifesaver! I had been struggling with vertigo for years, and he has been the only one that has been able to provide me relief. His expertise and care not only cured my vertigo but also restored my quality of life. I can't thank him enough for his exceptional skill and dedication!

Thank you so much, Dr. Insolera, for working your magic on our daughter, Madison. We are forever grateful. Madison (23 years) started on head gear and a palate expander in 3rd grade and was in and out of braces until 12th grade. During her high school years, she would get severe ear aches and almost every single doctor visit showed that there was no infection. When she visited family over seas, this ‘ear infection’ was so bad that family took her to the hospital. They put a scope down her ear canal but again, no infection. When she returned home, she saw an ENT doctor and again had a scope in her nose and ears. They decided to remove her adenoids to see if that would help. It didn’t. During this time, she was also experiencing migraines on a daily basis. She was in college and was regularly cancelling plans because her pain was so intense! Her dentist referred her to Dr. Insolera after a routine teeth cleaning and noticed that her jaw was not opening as it should. We interviewed 3-4 different doctors, dentists and orthodontists to see what could be done for her. I will admit that we were very skeptical and reluctant to start anything because she had 3 different phases of orthodontics already! I didn’t know who to go to or who to trust with dealing with her pain. I never knew that the ear pain and the migraines she was getting was due to a jaw discrepancy. Never put them together. I had never heard of orthotics for the mouth and the treatment plan Dr. Insolera was proposing. It was a lot to absorb and very overwhelming. It actually took us about three months to make the decision because it was such an investment and something that we were so unfamiliar with. During this time, our daughter was in so much pain. When she opened and closed her mouth, you could feel that her joints were bone on bone if you held your hand on her face. We decided to go for it and I am so thankful that we did! As soon as she got into her first orthotic, she felt immediate relief, though it was definitely an adjustment to get used to. Madison is done with treatment now and is completely pain free, no more migraines and has had no ear pain at all (and, she can eat carrots again!). I am completely amazed at what Dr. Insolera has done for her! I have read some other posts where it said that Dr. Insolera tried to ‘sell’ his treatment plan and I guess one can look at it that way, but after seeing our daughter go through what she did and become cured, I look at that initial meeting differently. I see a doctor who is completely passionate about what he does and wants to help people become pain free. He has dedicated his entire career at learning about the jaw and how it can affect so many parts of the body, if it isn’t in the right position. It’s fascinating to listen to him teach about this because I had no idea that the problems my kids were having were due to their jaw!! My son is also receiving treatment from Dr. Insolera. We are still in treatment with him and I will post about that when he finishes. He just took scans last week and the results were amazing. So far, his airway is opening up and his forward head posture is straightening up. More on him later.. We are so lucky to have Dr. Insolera in the Madison area! He has so much expertise and is so incredibly passionate about what he does to help people! People travel to him to get treatment and we have him right here in Madison. Thank you so much Dr. Insolera and team, for helping Madison and Ryan. Nikki Yesbeck

Dr Insolera’s treatment changed my life. I wasn’t able to open my mouth more than half an inch. Had been in pain all my life. Had many problems with posture. I was told I needed jaw surgery since I was a teenager, but for many reasons my parents then decided not to do it. One day in my mid 30s I saw the sign for the clinic and decided to call. I had given up all hope for my jaw. But it worked! I am still amazed at the results. It is so sad that I consulted more than 6 different professionals growing up and no one offered this treatment. Now I am taking my children there to get them assessed and treated to prevent the same thing happening to them. The staff there is great too! Thank you Mary and Dr Insolera!

I have been seeing Dr. Insolera for about 6 months now. Rudest and most arrogant Dr. I have ever met. I was in for my appointment 2 wks ago and he comes in (won't even acknowledge you are there, won't say hi, ect) puff outs his chest and demands you take your appliance out. If you try to ask questions he makes you feel dumb. He spends more time telling you about his accomplishments and courses he has taught then actually explaining the treatment that you are actually in for. He demeans his staff all the time. If I wasn't in the middle of treatment I would leave in a heart beat. Hopefully the next course he "teaches" on is bedside manners. God knows he needs them!
