Thunderbird Kid's Dentistry and Orthodontics

Such a great experience at this location. I originally had appointments for my kids at a different location and right before arriving I received a call letting me know that office did not take my insurance. I had called leading up to our appointment and was told everything was fine. They let me know the location on Thunderbird and 67th ave accepted our insurance. Once we arrived we were greeted by staff and the receptionist was able to see the issue with our insurance and it was a quick fix. The dentist was so friendly and very personable. Her staff was very professional and were very kind and you can tell they work well with children. It was my twins first time seeing a dentist and it went better than I expected. Definitely happy we came to this location and it’s less than a mile from my house.

Definitely will not be returning. This place was transferred from one Dr to another and no one seems to have any information on the previous Dr. Or so they say. After taking my kids for a cleaning one of them needed a tooth pulled and a " filling" we schedule for this. But they were only able to pull the tooth and not the filling. They wanted to schedule another appointment. But I decided to take my son to a different dentist..and he didn't need a filling.

The ladies at the front desk were very helpful with getting me and my daughters set up for up coming appointments, braces consultations, and giving full breakdowns on pricing for everything. They were willing to work with my work schedule and the school hours as well. The ladies in the back cleaning and taking X-rays were very considerate on making sure my kids were comfortable with what they were doing and walked them through the whole process. When the doctor came and checked their teeth he made sure to bring me over and walked me through which teeth needed to be worked on and what we needed to do to ensure they had a healthy smile. They have absolutely no issue with answering any questions that you have whether they are big or small. They genuinely care about the well being of every patient they have. I have recommended this place to multiple friends.

The entire staff is wonderful, from the front desk to the staff in the back. They are courteous and respectful and provide patient-first care. Dr. St. Martin is also incredible and I highly recommend her for any orthodontic needs. She's professional and meticulous, so your results will be A+ and nothing less. Highly recommend this office.

UPDATED REVIEW: We returned for my son to get his cavities filled and overall it was a great experience for him. Still the ladies at the front were in my opinion not the kindest or friendliest but I didn’t have issues with paper work or appointment + she did answer any questions I had so can’t complain. Just wish they were a bit kinder as they are the first people you see & speak to when you enter. Just think a smile could go a long way up front for scared kids and possibly nervous parents. However aside from that, this time around was wonderful! Both the dentist(younger male) and the woman assisting him were beyond patient and kind to my son who was extremely nervous and having a borderline panic attack at first. They did a great job and had him leaving with a smile on his face and no more cavities ? PAST REVIEW: This was our first time! We did get back fairly quickly & I have no complaints with the Dentist but some of the staff was interesting to say the least. Front desk seemed a bit caddy to be honest and very unenthusiastic with everything. The woman who cleaned my son’s teeth was very kind and talkative, clearly making an effort to make my son feel comfortable cause he was nervous…however you could tell when she walked us up front the other women seemed standoffish. Idk whole thing felt very mean girl for a dentist office. I just feel with it being a kids office, staff should at least attempt to be happy and upbeat.
